Im going to start answering your questions....

1) What is the reason behind choosing your ID?

I am the world's biggest dreamer. i've had quite a wild imagination for as long as i can remember and i think thats what inspired this ID. all the places i have been to and all the things that i have done in these sweet sweet dreams lol. 😳

2) How did you find out about India-Forums?

I used to watch "yeh meri life hai" with interest a while ago and did some google search on Shama Sikander (the protagonist in YMLH) and it directed me to IF. Ever since then i got addicted to the YMLH forum and after the show ended I came back for ELAS and ADHM. Now I am just addicted to the ADHM forum.
3) When's your birthday?

12th february 1983...that makes me an aquarius....frank, friendly i guess!

4) What's your profession?

I work as a financial analyst with a consulting firm in New York City (manhattan). boring boring boring. i know. 😊 I dont plan to stay in this profession for long however. I have many other Sweet dreams 😉

5) Your hobbies?
Lots! shopping is an obsession. my office is home to the most stylish women in new york city and this means i have to keep up with them and thus shopping has become a habit now 😆
other than that I enjoy reading thriller/suspense books, dancing, working out at the gym and watching movies with friends.

6) Your best friend on IF?

you know i never quite looked at IF as a way to make friends but that mode of thinking is changing fast. Especially after you guys introduced Member of the week thing....I am getting to know people more intimately...not just as screennames but as actual people.
i do like miss whynot alot 😃 she seems very levelheaded. aside from that I find alot of people on this board unique....shahnaz, jojo are hilarious...vasantha rao is serious, hard-to-please and a good critic, blind horizon, gulrani all offer great analysis. Wazup is funny with her one-liner replies, gr8_mms is always nice to everyone and there is another person...hmmmm i think her name is Maha ? 😆 she is a sweetheart as well! with such wonderful sautans....how could i refuse to share my hubby? 😳

What do you like about Soumya and Gaurev

Gaurav is my husband so it is my "kartavya" to hold him in high esteem no matter what 😳....

hehe seriously speaking though I admire the fact that Gaurav Chopra can be so versatile when it comes to acting. He has the ability to convey emotions through his eyes which I find very rare. He has a magnetic personality because he is so different. (*trying very hard not to go into physical details of why i adore gaurav*)

I think Saumya is pretty and her acting has improved quite a bit. I dont know much about her as there isnt too much media info on her. But I do feel she carries herself quite well.

So here are some of my questions

1. Your take on religion and beleives ? ( will understand if you choose not to answer)

I understand religion can be a very sensitive subject for alot of people so I try my best not to indulge in any discussions on religion online or in real life. but i will give my view on it hoping i will not offend anyone in the process of doing so. I myself dont believe in organized religion although I do believe in God. I believe religion should be an individual thing and there should be no compulsion in it. I also think religion gives meaning to a person's life but looking down upon others and holding your religion superior to another's is something I despise.
2. Role model ?.

my grandmother. she was one of the strongest women i have ever met. she faced alot of grief and difficulties in her life yet she was full of life. even in her old age she had a zest for life. She loved people and i never heard a word of anything bad come out of her mouth for anyone.

3. If you were granted three wishes in life what would you ask for?

1)i would ask for my loved ones to have a long, healthy and happy life. 2)i would ask for poverty and suffering to disappear from this world and 3) ahem ahem i would ask for a handsome samay khurana in my life😳

4. Any historical event you wish never happened?

evolution of societies into male-dominated ones!😆

5. If you had the power to bring one historical figure alive , whom would you name?

mother teresa.

6. If you won a lotto (is $ 10 million enough) , what would be the first think you would do?

wow 10 million! 😆 the first thing i would do is probably faint with joy! ok seriously speaking i would pay off my credit card debt!

7. Dream profession?

running my own business. i hate 9 to 5 office work! or i hope to be a college professor one day

8. Favourite smell?

did you mean a perfume scent? or any scent? I generally love the scent of jasmine flowers. also the scent of my mom's Biryani.

9. Favourite food?

ooooh i love good food! my all time favorite food is afghani and turkish cuisine! but i can also eat daal chawal every day of the week.

10. Favourite dress?

my style is girly but strong so i love jeans with nice tops and well-cut shalwar kamiz.
