Movie name is BAZAAR [Market] Released in 1982, n no wonder Supriya Jii won the Filmfare 'Best supporting actress' award for her Outstanding performance.đ
She portrayal as the young Shabnam, hailing from a poor family in Hyderabad, who is sold off by her parents to a rich, old Indian in the Gulf, a realistic, hard hitting film.đ Though in love with Sarjju, Shabnam succumbs to family pressure and gets married to the older man. A tragic end to this very realistic story, sees Shabnam commit suicide on her wedding night.đ Amazing acting by the versatile Supriya Pathak. đđđ
