Since he is new I want him to give some more time..but he really have to improve himself..
besides I don't think any establish actor would take up this role. Manavs character hardly has anything to do, once he gets married to CC, it will be all about UB and CC..I doubt they gonna show too much of how he feels and stuff...so I don't think any popular actor would take up a role role like that..unless they get some non famous actor who fits into role..

After today there so many negative reviews regarding Farhan acting skills. Manav is very important as UB and CC he will he stuck between two very important woman in his life and those type of roles requires a good acting chops. And I don't want that guy TB article mention he looks too old for both Sanaya and the role.

There have been a lot of threads on Farhan. And I agree that he may not be the best actor out there. But for this character, I don't think he's as bad as people make him out to be. This show is about Chanchan and Umaben. It's not a love story as many people wish for it to be.

I understand that IPKKND had a very large fanbase and people really want to see that intense love story thing again. But this show is quite different than that. It's touching a whole another audience (or at least it hopes to) which is why I feel that maybe Sanaya fans are upset sometimes when they see it.

Manav is supposed to be a happy-go-lucky guy that falls in love with a sweet girl with high morals. But the real story is between Umaben and Chanchan. And both Supriya Pathak and Sanaya Irani have been well-casted for their respective roles.

I think because most people think this is supposed to be about a love story, they get upset. But really, Barun cannot always be casted opposite Sanaya. Neither can Mohit. Harshan, Wahi, all these different actors probably want a lead role in show where there would be a greater focus on them. So this show isn't really apt for them. But a newcomer that's just learning fills the bill quite well!

I think Farhan has improved big time since when we first saw him. And I'm sure he will continue to do so. When it comes to TRPs, I never really get them. There have been some awesome shows like Rishta.com that never got decent TRPs. Indian television has been quite a regressive medium so far but I'm glad newer shows are at least being experimented with. We need fresh shows like Chanchan! Give it a chance people!
