Why doesn't she wear a mangal sutra and bindi?
She is not an ultra modern bahu like Latika who does
Wear these symbols of a married woman. I know everything
Abt latika is fake but seriously I don't like the fact that cvs
Have got latika wearing it which we all know wot a mockery
That marriage is , to most woman these r absolutely sacred.
I am surprised a girl from kullu who has so much respect for
Relationship ,culture and traditions doesn't wear these symbols
Of her commitment to her husband and relationship. I am sorry
If I hurt ur feelings but that is something I am confused abt wud
Pankhu s character. I understand that this doesn't prove a commit
Or love in marriage but I am only relating to the small town ,traditonal
And cultural girl that the character is suppose to be.

Pankhuri was married under some unusual circumstances.

Adi had no Mangalsutra at that time to give it to Pankhuri.

Later, may be the CV's forgot it.

She is not like other serial bahus who wear saris and bindi and mangalsutra and roam about the house wearing lots and lots of jewellery. They go to bed like that and wake up in the morning like that..which seems quite ridiculous and unreal. But I m happy dat pankhuri is not shown like that. She is shown as a simple girl..which i like.

@ great fan I agree that she is not like all the other bahus
But wearing a mangal sutra and bindi for her being brought
Up with traditional values shuld have been a must .I don't feel
If she wears a bindi and mangalsutra will take away her simplicity .

I love that she doesn't wear saries and heavy jewellery everyday but mangal sutra and bindi
For somebody who is so traditional she shuld be wearing it

Frankly difficult to say, but if Pankhuri is saying that traditions should be followed, then logically she should start wearing them.

I agree with your points. Phankudi is shown as a traditional bahu who values traditions and customs a lot. We all know under what circumstance Adi and Phanku got married and didn't do all such rituals. But she could have shown wearing a mungal sutra and bindi or sindoor.

I like her simplicity and am glad that she isn't wearing the heavy sari all the time. But according to the traditional bahu role she plays, sindoor and mungal sutra would count a lot.

I totally agree with you.she doesn't have to be loaded with heavy jewellery but a simple mangalsutra, bindi & sindoor would make a nice difference.
