Krip Suri

Krip Suri who essays the lead negative Rahukaal in Life OK's fantasy based show Savitri (Flying Turtle Films) gets into a comfort zone as an actor when he is sharing screen space with senior and talented actors. According to the actor, it is important to work with good actors to get the equation and scene right.

Talking about his fabulous learning curve of being amidst talented actors in Savitri, Krip Suri told Tellychakkar.com, "I am blessed to be working with not one, not two, but three talented ladies in Savitri. Ridhi Dogra is a wonderful actress to work with, and an amazing person too. The sequences that I shoot with Ridhi come out very well, as she gives me the liberty to do something out of the box as an actor. She also sees to it that the scene in totality comes out well, and does not hesitate to help out her co-actors. That is what I like in her."

Krip is simply amazed at the level of experience that co-actor Indrani Haldar has bagged in her career. Stating about the National Award winning actress, Krip averred, "I have not shot anything till now with Indraniji. However, here is the time to learn quite a lot from the amazing actress. She has proved to one and all about her great caliber of acting by bagging the National Award. Now that the past life of Rahukaal opens up in the show wherein Indraniji plays my onscreen mother, I look up to her to gain more experience. I have never had any schooling in terms of acting. I have never had a God father in this industry from where I could get guidance. I have learnt my lessons by watching and observing people performing. I have watched quite a lot of movies and learnt from them. Even for the role of Rahukaal, I watched many fantasy based films and learnt through them. However, I saw to it that I never copied any legends and had my own style as an actor."

Krip also mentioned about having a fabulous time shooting with his onscreen sister Reshmi Ghosh. "Reshmi is a senior in terms of experience and is a thorough professional. I get to learn a lot from her."

Lastly, on the average numbers of Savitri, the actor exclaimed, "It is a fact that every producer, channel and actor wants good numbers. You are a huge star if your show has big numbers. Savitri is yet to create wonders, is what I would say. It is an experiment by Life OK and have a long way to go. We will do wonders and create a benchmark for ourselves in the TV industry post IPL. The show will not let anyone down in terms of content is what I can say."

Way to go, Krip!!!
