Writtern Update
The show starts with two boys, standing outside a house and talking about their girl.
Just as the clock strikes 7, a girl draped in a red scarf is seen walking down the veranda of her house. It was Poonam.
Poonam's father calls her and she seeks his blessing and asks whether he did his yoga. He tells her he will do it once he goes to USA. She gets angry. He replies that he was too happy and thus wasn't able to do it, due to excitement.
They get a call from Gautam. Poonam takes the phone and requests Sir not to tell anything to her parents about her exams. She doesn't want them to feel unhappy He advises her to reconsider her decision because she has worked hard. She keeps the phone
She then gifts her parents from her saving. They lay the table.
Poonam goes to her work place an institute for teaching embroidery. Her friend suman's parents are discussing their dughters wedding. ANd they are upset that they don't have a son. They want a son for a Damad. The praise Poonam's brother Deepak.
Poonm's parents are proud that their son is ready to ook after him and sit discussing their past memories. They then leave for their flight to USA. A boy asks whether they are going to USA to get Poonam married. He refuses. And says that he wants a Son in law from Lacknow only . He should be educated, traditional, respect people., Glimpse of the hero are shown. He is riding a bike and shouting to clear the road.
Just then his bike meets with and accident with Poonam's fathers bike and he falls off. Poonam's dupatta lands on his face. While she runs to her father.
When she goes to take her dupatta their hands touch. [BG music] Poonam lahes out at him for being so careless. He continues to star at her. He then asks whether her father if he is okay.
They recieve a call fom Deepak. It was Deepak's wife. She tells him to return home. Wile Deepak is shown stresed in the background. Father is shocked. She informs him tat due to shortage of money thy have cancelled their tickets. Deepak takes the phone and apologizes trying to explain his financial problems. He keeps the phone and informs his wife and Poonam that they are not going.
On the whole a good start to the serial.
