I am so glad😃 and ecstatic that Asad did not respond to Dilshads question
In fact I could not be happier🥳
If he said yes then I would not want a confession like this, under-pressure, infront of family and no pre-romance
if he said no than Dilshad could have just turned to Tanveer, she would not have started a new girl search when she only has 10 days to go for her bet with fate
and also his silence + background music+ zoyas facial expressions = a spectacular, tension filled excitement scene
you could almost sense the awkwardness Zoya would have felt being greeted with an intense convo about Asads potential love for her, with none other than Asads mum encouraging the question. An uncomfortable and embarrassing situation. Zoya cant look too eager to know the answer or it would give her feelings away, but cant help herself to look too indifferent just in case Asad does answer with a yes. She must have felt really self-conscious to present herself as a neutral spectator to the whole scene.
So overall two very enthusiastic thumbs up for Asads silence 👍🏼👍🏼
and an applause for Dilshad knowing her son well👏
