what I do not understand is if Shiv knew all this and wanted to marry Gauri just so that she could die in an year's time...then why did he ask Gauri to run away from the wedding?...why has he always tried to make sure that Gauri leaves him and goes away...

also Shashank does not seem like a person who would knowingly sentence Gauri to death...he may be spineless...but not a killer..
I feel Shiv and Shashank were not aware of the extent of danger to Gauri...but now they do...may be thanks to Devika..

i think they knew abt it all the time. guess shiv was helpless and shashank was forced to do it. i think whtever shiv did to an extend is justified by the way he always tried to break the marriage but shashank 🤢
