The main problem with this show is the PACE. Things move so slowly. Each time one expects something of depth or thrill as a viewer it all unfolds so slowly that the effect falls flat. Many times they just keep zooming camera on each character's face for a minute! One character speaks a line, other remains shocked/excited for a minute with camera focused on his face!

And there are way too many flashbacks! Seen little Jalandhar's FBs too many times now!

Their actors are good and story seems good. Only their stretching tracks or mixing too many stories together and tortoise-like pace is hard to bear.

This was actually a golden opportunity from them because rival channel's show BV is reeling under effects of the lead's replacement and story in it is kind of shaky. Had the Mahadev team shown as kickass episodes as the promos of this track, they'd have upstaged even BV!

I watch in anticipation daily only to see another slow paced episode with only one or two worthwhile scenes. The rest is devtas worried about Jalandhar or Jalandhar pissed at devtas and Parvati struggling with her memory.

IPL this year is not getting good ratings. But it does have effect as do other shows in same slot. Even the churail show on Sony (Anamika) is more thrilling, better paced these days.

I am disappointed that even battle scenes in the show are not as racy as the promos indicate.

I watch re-runs of BRC's Mahabharat on Star Utsav. Even that decades old show is better paced than this - especially the battle scenes which were epic! (Of course it's Mahabharat so battle scenes are bound to be the star attraction).

But this show is being made now with better technology and fitter actors (who are talented also) yet the pace is oddly slow!
