The Storyline?

Hello

Hope you are all doing well...i am new to the forum...but i am very interested to know about the storyline of karam Apna Apna...that way i can start watching it regularly...

Any help or quick overview would be greatly appreciated :)!

Someone please help me...i have been watching some of the episodes and it is hard to follow without knowing what the storyline is...i would be very thankful if someone helped me...

I can give you a small gist
There is a girl named Gauri (the main one) and she comes from Kolkatta with her father, who is great freinds with Mahen Kapoor (father of SHiv). Well Mahen gets Gauri and Shashank (another guy - kebab mein haddi) rishta together. Shiv absolutely hates Gauri at this time
on the wedding day of Shashank and Gauri, shashank runs away (actually there is a secret behind this as to why he ran away) and Mahen Kapoor makes his son Shiv sit in the mandap with gauri by blackmailing him saying if shiv does not marry gauri then shiv is not going to get any property or money
well eventually both agree and Shiv gets married to Gauri
Shiv hates gauri still and he decides to do something where everyone will hate her, well he tries several different thing and it never worked (i mean to an extent it would work, but nothing would happen really)
Then they go on their honeymoon and they get kidnapped by a terrorist and well gauri being a pati vrata saves shiv and well here is the turning point
shiv stops hating gauri (he doesn't love her, but now he doesn't hate her either.
Then comes in Devika (she is Gauri's nani and she does not like Gauri's father because he was poor and he got married to her daughter) she wants to seperates Shiv and Gauri for a reason, but we don't know why
she tried alot to explain gauri, but she didn't listen because shiv had exposed devika infront of gauri by saying that she had tried to break their relationship )
so gauri does not like her nani
Finally the happy moment Gauri says I love you to Shiv, but shiv doesn't know what to say
Their marriage was planned not a coincidence
and Gauri is getting close to the raaz of who planned it

Shiv now supprts gauri and he is depressed because now gauri likes him, but he does not want to hurt her feelings
Shiv is trying to get Gauri and Shashank back together
But gauri does not want to go back
but she does not know the truth about her marriage ...
this is where we are right now

i am glad you liked my update

but i still left out a lot of little things, but if you go back and read the full updates you will understand better.

now since you know the gist of it, the updates will be so much easier to follow
