I was grinning when she said we waste so much when a poor family can survive with 500 gm food. Its not only for doyal, even for every one it is really difficult to cook without wastage. If we have more than enough qty., then we are tend to waste some portion, we will not tend to drain out the ingredients to the full. To prepare the same qty. of dish(500 gms) , if 4 people are allowed to the apntry without restriction, the selcted ingredient qty. will vary anywhere from 1000gm to 2000gm.

😆...what ever worked worked...she learned a valuable lesson and made a promise to herself not to waste in the future.

This is for doyal only.
She said we should not waste , who was wasting who was bringing so much from pantry
She will not change see tomorrow again she will repeat the same.

While taking loads of things and returning them back to pantry unopened is not 'wastage' (or is it?), but i think she is the one who prepared a amazing chutney from so called 'wastage' to save the day for her team. 😉
Well I am not a Doyel Fan, but let us give the Devil her due.
