Well...today I shall not be posting my thoughts on the current track or today's episode either. I don't think I need to explain why! There's really not much to discuss for TaaRey fans - it's like sitting on a slow train, counting the minutes till you get home - but time seems to be taking forever! THAT'S the feeling I get while watching D3 nowadays. All I am doing is waiting...waiting...AND waiting...for something to come our way...
That aside, I have a confession to make! Sometimes...okay, most of the time! After a long and tiring day, I go onto youtube and watch the old TaaRey scenes - right from their very first meeting 😳 Let me admit, I think I've almost remembered the dialogues by heart now!! Do I sound crazy? Probably! But what to do? I'm a hopeless romantic at heart who swoons over the sight of true love in its purest form :)
When I watch Taani constantly falling over, spacing out and daydreaming of a romantic dance with her Prince Charming, I always have a HUGE smile on my face! I'm grinning from ear to ear. And when Rey looks at her oddly and with raised eyebrows, yes - I cringe! 😆
When I reach the part where Taani expresses her feelings to Rey, I get all teary eyed at Rey's anger and hurtful words. I've watched that scene many times now but everytime it kills me. Seeing the pain in Taani's eyes always leaves a great big lump in my throat. At that point Rey is rejecting Taani...but I am feeling the hurt with her.
From there onwards we see Taani as a completely different individual. It was almost as if Rey's words had been imprinted into the depths of her heart. He too notices the change in her. At times it was painful to watch. But I really enjoyed this part of their journey. There was a spark!
But for me, the best phase of TaaRey's journey was the entry of Shivam posing as Taani's fake boyfriend. This phase gave us many enjoyable moments and brought out a different side to Rey. The jealous, intense and passionate Rey. Finally the audience was beginning to understand that Taani's love was no longer unreciprocted. Rey too had developed romantic feelings for Miss. Cutely Weird :)
Gosh, how can one describe the epic moment of Mitwa, and the intensity of Mora Piya? Words cannot express the sizzling chemistry between Rey and Taani during tujhko jo paaya sequence (following food fight) These moments were and shall remain classic. It shall forever be ingrained in the hearts and minds of all TaaReyians. Beautiful moments to cherish <3
Oh, I am feeling nostalgic! My heart melts like an ice cream cone on a hot summers day just thinking about those times. Those were what I call the golden days. And those were the days where I wouldn't miss an episode of D3, knowing full well that the CVs had some TaaReylicious moments instore for us. *SIGH*
If I could, I would rewind time back to those days of pure passion, high intensity, delightful romance and high voltage TaaRey chemistry. But we all know for a fact that time gone can never return again. It is the law of nature that one cannot deny. But even then, one can't help but wish for those good ol' times to return!
I just realised, I have constantly used the word 'time' in my post. It's funny, isn't it? Time. A very small word but holds a great deal of importance in our lives.
:)
