She will be the chosen bride but his no is going to be a source of angst between the two and i am willing to bet this is where Ajmer comes in.

Excelt point 4 i agree to all!

Asad might not choose Zoya cuz he has Tanveer lurking in fron of him who has all those qualities he wants in a wife ! (Well Tanveer makes it seem so anyways)!

He also might not choose Zoya cuz he's afriad he'l hurt her, like his father hurt his mother. He loves Zoya too much to hurt her,

Why I disagree to point 4 is because Asad unknowingly has fallen in love with his childlike behaviour. He couldve fallen in love with Tanveer. But he didnt. Yes his mind says a perfect girl is like that. But in his heart, he sees the childhood he missed in Zoya. He sees fun part of life in her. Unknowingly. Thats what i feel!
