She had returned. Kriya. After one month of Taani and Rey's marriage, Kriya had returned.
"I'm sorry Taani!" Rey said as he held Kriya's hand firmly, "I sorry but it's over between us! I just realized that I never loved you... It was Kriya and it is Kriya! You and I... It was never meant to be! I'm sorry!"
Taani was numb. She couldn't ever feel her heart crushing into million pieces. She was shattered. Shattered from within. Tears flowed down her cheek continuously. Her world had come to an end. "You and I... It was never meant to be!" His words echoed in her mind. The man, whom she loved more than her own life, was leaving her. Life had played an unfair game with her. She had already won it, but something happened, and the tables were turned. She was on the losing side now. She couldn't bear it. In a second, her life was darkened. The reason for her happiness, the reason for her living, was taken away from her.
Rey held Kriya's hand and made way out of the house. Taani looked in the direction and fell to the ground. She broke down completely, with no one by her side to console her. She gathered the leftover courage within her and shrieked his name for the last time, "REYYY!!!!"
She woke up. Tears flowing down her cheeks and her hand extended forward as if calling him back.
"Taani?!" Rey shook her by her shoulder. She looked at him. Those hazel brown eyes, with which she was in love. It was then when she realized that it was a dream. No. A nightmare. Fresh tears formed in her eyes. It was tears out of happiness. No. It was tears out of fear. She didn't know. Maybe it was both.
But Rey was sure of one thing that Taani was trembling in fear. He wanted to embrace her into himself immediately, but he thought of asking her the reason first. "Taani? Kya hua? Tum.. Tum ro kyu rahi ho?" He asked, cupping her face and slowly wiping her tears away.
"Rey woh..." Taani managed to say, "Kriya waapas.. Aap.. mujhe.. chchod kar.." And she burst into tears again, not able to say anything further.
He immediately understood the reason. He felt tears forming in his eyes. But before Taani could see them, he embraced her in a tight hug. He carresed her back consoling her while she snaked her arms around him tightly, as if she would never let him go, as if she was claiming her right on him. He plastered her body to his and kept rubbing her back. Rey felt his T- shirt getting wet, as she kept crying silently, still in his arms. They stayed in each other's embrace for a while when Rey felt Taani's grip loosen on him.
He gently broke the hug. She was looking down. He cupped her face and made her look at him. Tears were still flowing down her cheeks. She couldn't stop them. Rey slowly wiped away her tears and shook his head gently.
"Mere life me.." Rey started saying , "Mere life me ek hi ladki thi.. hai.. aur humesha rahegi.. who tum ho Taani.. sirf Tum! Tumhari jagah koi nahi le sakta.. Koi bhi nahi! Mai sirf aur sirf tumse pyaar karta hu.. You and only you are my love.. And I promise, I'll be by your side, For forever!"
"Forever!" Taani breathed and put her lips on his, pulling him into a gentle kiss. It took him no time to respond. He wrapped his arms around her waist pulling her closer to himself. She wrapped her arms around his neck and allowed her fingers to get lost in his hair. She pulled him closer and deepened the kiss. Soon it turned into a passionate one. He caressed her back continuously while kissing her. He felt her grip on him tighten indicating that she was short of breath. He pulled apart and made her lie on the bed. Laying on top of her, he kissed her neck, simultaneously undoing her top. He kissed every patch of skin he could access.. And they made love into the beautiful and serene night, asserting that she only belonged to him and he to her..
One Month Later..
"Gosh Taani! Aaj bohot late ho gaya mai! Swayam won't leave me alive!" Rey said as he hurriedly got down the stairs.
"Rey mujhe aapse kuch baat karne hai!", Taani said, arranging the breakfast on the table.
Rey took the glass of juice and gulped it down in a go. "Abhi nahi Taani! Mai sham ko ghar aata hu phir we'll talk!" Rey said and hurriedly pecked her lips and moved towards the door.
"Rey but baat bohot important hai!" Taani said. "Taani please please please abhi nahi.. Swayam wait kar raha hoga mera!" Rey said and moved out the house.
"MR. SINGHANIA YOU'RE GOING TO BECOME A FATHER AND YOU ARE STOPPING THERE RIGHT NOW!!" Taani shouted. Rey stopped, not able to believe his ears. Did he hear her right? Was HE going to become a FATHER? He felt his eyes brimming with tears of happiness. He turned around and saw Taani blushing. He ran up to her and engulfed her in a tight hug and lifting her, still in the hug, spun her around. He broke the hug and placed his forehead against hers. "I love you.." They said in unison and smiled through their tears of happiness..
Nine Months later..
"Come on! Name her!!" Sharon said, looking over to Taani who was lying on the bed. Sharon slowly pecked the nose of the little new born and handed her to her father.
"Bhai will!" Taani said. "Yeah! Swayam will name her!" Rey said, agreeing.
"How can I?" Swayam said, denying.
"You have to do it Bhai! For me! Please.." Taani said.
"Okay umm.. How about Arya?" , Swayam said.
"It's perfect.. It's beautiful.." Rey, Taani and Sharon breathed.
"Papa!!" Aryan said as he clung to Swayam's legs. Swayam picked him up in his arms.
"Papa kya yeh meri behen hai?" The five year old toddler asked his dad as the four of them smiled.
"Haan beta! She's you're sister! Arya!" , Swayam answered.
"Arya and Aryan!! Just like me and Bhai!" Taani said, her eyes becoming teary. Swayam put down Aryan and he ran up Rey to adore her little sister. Swayam went and hugged Taani.
Rey smiled at their daughter who was playing with her hands in his arms. He went up to Taani and sat beside her. He gave the little princess to her mother and loving kissed her forehead.
"Thankyou for giving me the most beautiful gift ever!" Rey said. Taani smiled through the tears which found their way to her eyes.
"I love you!" Taani said.
"I love you too! And I'll love you forever!" Rey said.
And they lived happily ever after..

Huh! This was it! I know I know utna achcha nahi hua!! I had thought over this bohot achche se but couldn't pen it down nicely! Sorry for that! Joote, chappal, rotten eggs and tomatoes are welcome. And for that 'Ahem' part.. I tried something like that for the first time so sorry if you found it vulgur. Please tell me.. Did I overdo it? I am super tensed for your reactions.
