These lyrics are dedicated to my current state of mind. Ah.. I feel like banging my head against the wall today 😡. What is wrong with these people? Don't they realize that Iqbal's exit is around the corner?? Why are they making me sweat this much, eh? For two straight days, this stupid daksh track has been brewing a storm of anger and fury deep inside me!!! I thought perhaps today's episode was going to make up for the crap that I have been putting up for two days. Yes, I am being harsh in my comments today but hey, at least I am being honest. I absolutely adore the storyline but hate to see this fantastic series go to a waste by indulging into sidetracks that can very well be avoided at this time and saved for later on. So I apologize in advance if my brief analysis today hurts your feelings..
Alritey, you want to hear something weird? I have never forwarded an episode faster than I did this one. The only two places where I actually watched the whole segment was the dinner segment and later on the Shiv-Gauri conversation in their bedroom. I feel like this whole shanks kidnapping, Gauri being a spy, Daksh's affair and Vivan-Shiv arguments are simply wastage of time at this point. I used to think that Karam Apnaa Apnaa is a fast-paced drama where things get resolved within days and that worked for me as a viewer. I hate dragging storylines where a "secret" is stretched over so many episodes that a person gets fed up of it and loses all interest in it. That is what's happening to me now. I want this raaz over and done with already!! I don't want the KAA creative team wasting another week over solving this mystery. Please, if there is a God, this thing will be disclosed to Gauri by Monday's episode at the latest. If not, then "mera khuda hi hafiz hai..".Dinner Scene: I loved Mahen's reaction to Gauri leaving the dinner table in order for Shyla Chachi to have her food there. His eyes were so expressive and I actually noticed his presence after a long time. So props to him for that. But the stealer of the show was Shiv stepping in and bringing Gauri along with him to the table. I felt as if time had stopped for those 15 seconds.. I was so moved with Shiv's expressions there, especially his tight grasp when he held Gauri's hand to take her to the dinner table. Gosh..I was wishing Gauri's hand to be that of mine (lol). But fun apart, it was an amazing execution of a scene. So Shiv ji now worries for Gauri so much that he can't even see anyone getting mad at her anymore. This was the same Shiv who hurted her deeply, made her heart ache with pain with his ruthlessness and crude behavior towards her, turned her life upside down by emotionally abusing her in any way possible.. But now, the same Shiv is taking a stand against the entire family for Gauri's sake? His appealing manner to ask Shyla why she was blaming Gauri for all this when she didn't utter a single word this time showed Shiv's immense love for Gauri through itself.. Wow, pyar toh hona hi tha Shiv ji..
Vivan & Kaya: Abhi ek couple tu sahi tarah mila nahi (i.e. Gauri & Shiv) ke in ki bhi story start ho gaye.. I think at this point of time, KAA should restrict their encounters to be as casual and informal as possible. Cutesy scenes are okay but Kaya showing her great concern for Vivan's pain is too much to ask for at this point. She should not have defended Gauri and Shiv like that. I understand she wanted to clear any misunderstandings but their friendship is not up to the level right now that she can just go to Vivan and ask him to forgive Gauri & Shiv. C'mon ladki, you don't even know the whole story. Stop being so sympathetic towards Vivan. He's a big boy and will be fine eventually. Go back to your medical books and study hard because you'll need it. Trust me, this is coming from a person who has been a medical student herself. So chop, chop!! Time's ticking away..
Shiv-Gauri's conversation in the bedroom: The highlight of this scene was Shiv asking Gauri "kya soch rahi ho??" and Gauri comforting him. Pallavi was awesome here. But then Gauri got the "bani walia bukhaar" and started being the CSI of Balaji production house.. Wesai I fail to understand one thing? Do the creators of the show really believe that a kidnapper will actually keep his victim in a house where billion other people are staying in? And why on earth was a phone left there? I would make sure as a kidnapper that there are absolutely no means of communication available and that the damned victim is tied with a post or is present in such a secluded area where he cannot move himself or make "shor sharaba" for attracting others' attention. But hindi soap hai..Ye sab tu hona hi tha (sighs).
End Scene: I believe there are two ladies standing behind Gauri. One's Shyla because there was pink saree involved with golden bangles and she is the one shown wearing those in today's episode and along with her was Nikhila in the white saree. I can be wrong but I swear, it seemed like two people standing behind Gauri because Shyla's hand over Gauri's shoulder was off at an angle. It was her hand and Nikhila's straight hair that makes me think that there were two people there. Perhaps Shyla came over to say sorry to Gauri? Who knows..
Overall, I am annoyed like hell that we didn't get to see Shiv-Gauri romantic scenes on a larger scale. I am irritated that 80% of the episode was wasted in Daksh's affair that was pointless to bring at this time. I am infuriated that Iqbal didn't get too much of a scope in the episode today but above all, I am upset at the dragging storyline of this secret that Gauri doesn't know about. What happened to the older days of disclosing every secret within 2-3 episodes? Please KAA Creative team; don't do this to me next week. I am counting the days we are left with Iqbal in the serial and you guys are playing with my emotions by wasting all this time. Even if Daksh's affair has to do something with the so-called secret, I want it gone by Monday's episode. I demand you to make my heart flutter and my soul go all nuts with more of Shiv-Gauri's romance next week. For the love of audience, spare us from these terrible sidetracks… 😕
