I have to share a short but wonderful segment from the song sequence today
Watching it for the third time and it still get to me
Just before Zoya is getting into the car watch how her chin quivers drastically and her lips even through firmly shut is shuddering, using all the muscles on her face to stop herself from bursting into tears. She could not believe that she was leaving and was actually trembling. I highly rate surbhis acting (always have but today she exceeded my expectations).
Its really worth watching, just before she has the flashback of Asad intoxicated with bhang. The way her chin shakes and vibrates to stop herself from crying was absolutely amazing. Her tears seemed irrelevant when compared to the trauma her face was expressing.
Three cheers for some faultless acting from Surbhi đ đ đ
