Late update but as said earlier xams are going on. But this update is a biggg one to make up for the delay😉.
The doctors came n checked on her, whole time Maan was tapping his feet on the marble floor impatient to know if she was okay. Geet was getting tired of keeping her eyes open; it felt like huge weights were tied to her lids. She vaguely saw doctors telling Maan something n him releasing a sigh of relief then she gave up n slept off.
She woke up sometime the next morning. Maan was sitting just before her in same clothes with her blood on them. He was holding her hand tightly in his n looked really tired if the worn out face was something to say.
When he saw her arouse he scooted closer n slid his knuckles lightly over her cheek. She unconsciously leaned into the touch. His eyes filled up with tears something else indescribable was in them n she just stared into the deep orbs.
How are you feeling? He asked voice low n soft. Fine. The corner of his lip lifted up in a small smile n regardless of tears it made her heart flutter. Like always. She down casted her eyes shyly at his teasing tone. What happened to him? As far as she remembered she was the one hit on the head.
Rohan came into the room. You are awake' finally. He grinned at Geet n frowned looking at Maan. Thank god otherwise your husband would have gone mad like he was sane before. Just look at yourself Maan you can give the zombies a run for their, money. Geet agreed n would have nodded if her head had allowed the movement.
Shut up! What did the doctors said about discharge?
They said we can take Geet home.
Good go complete the formalities.
Yeah-yeah. The useless prick you are. Fine, romance with your wife Rohan is here to do everything. He walked out muttering.
Her cheeks turned red n Maan looked at her with a dreamy glint in eyes it only deepened her blush. He continued drooling n she wished the bed to just swallow her. I..I am sleepy. She said just to remove that look from his eyes. Huh? Oh yeah. You want something to eat? I don't know if you are allowed or not. I think juice would be fine. He discussed with himself n when looked back at her she had already fallen asleep. He kissed her forehead lovingly.
She woke again hearing some commotion in the room. We are going home. Maan said to her. A ward boy brought a wheel chair n was about to shift her into it but Maan stopped him. Without any warning he picked her up into his arms, cradling her head securely against his shoulder. She snuggled closer, she would protest later; right now she had no energy. His strong arms were so comfy n the soothing beat of his heart calmed her down overshadowing the thump in her head. While he walked to the car people watched them but they both were too much into her world to pay any heed to them.
He slid into the backseat of the car with her. Laying her comfortably on the seat he rested her head on his lap. She buried her face into his stomach n closed her eyes, sleep didn't stay behind.
Next she awakened to a hand caressing her cheek, gentle weight lying on her chest. With closed eyes she wished it to be Maan though as her eyes opened Jia raised her head from over Geet's chest but her hand stayed there on Geet's cheek.
What are you doing here? Geet asked her voice gruff n unused.
Daddy had to attend a call so I am taking care of u. She said seriously. How are you?
I am good. Geet attempted a smile but failed as pain flared in her head.
Is it hurting? Jia asked her hand wandering to the bandage on Geet's head. I kissed it better, it shouldn't be hurting. She sucked at her upper lip in confusion.
No it's not hurting at all. You can become a doctor when you grow up.
Jia's face broke into a grin. You tink so? Yes. And you can become a superhero when you grow up. Superhero? Yesh, you saved Daddy n Jia. She said her eyes opened wide n adoration shinning in them. It hurt but Geet couldn't help smiling. She hadn't thought anything before pushing them but it felt good to know that Jia thought of her as a hero. Jia's hero. Wow!! It sounded so awesome. Thank you Jia.
Maan came in n saw her awake. She had slept for another whole day n he was getting worried again. Jia what had we decided? That mommy is to take rest. She said sticking her lower lip out in a pout. Annie said she will watch movie with me. Jia said somehow climbing down the bed on her own n running out.
Geet didn't want to be left alone in the room with him but her opinion was not considered. Maan sat on the bed n looked at her intently. Before another heartbeat his lips were on hers, tender n slow. In her shocked state she let herself flow in the warm comfort of his mouth partially thinking if she was just imagining things. She stayed still, didn't kiss him back because she didn't had the strength but he seemed not to get enough. Parting several times n kissing her back, he kept going on and on. Her hand came up to his head n Maan groaned delightedly but stopped not wanting to strain her.
Did he just'.??? Amazed she looked away. His wet lips were making her crave for even more than she already wanted. He cupped her cheek turning her face n for minutes they just stared into each other's eyes without speaking. Words were never enough for them n they were the reason that even after being to close they were still so far.
Nakul knocked on the door n brought her food plate. He left n Maan helped Geet in sitting up. Now only she noticed that it wasn't her room or bed she was in, it was Maan's. He withdrew his hands from behind her head n back-the simple touch made tingles run over her skin-to pick up the plate. He forwarded a morsel.I don't' I am not going to take your no. He said sternly. Eat. I can eat myself. You can eat from my hand too if not then I then I can make you. He warned n she gulped. Geet sullenly opened her mouth n he made her eat. I can't eat more. She said just after eating half chapatti. But you ate only half chapatti. He said taking another morsel to her mouth. She made a baby face. Aur nai, please. Involuntarily his eyes warmed up; in that moment he could have given his life if she would have asked making that face. Hmm. I will be back in a minute. She wanted to ask if he'd had dinner but her inhibitions and fear didn't let her.
He came after a few minutes, to his utter dismay he found Geet trying to stand up using the bed as leverage. Maan angrily strode towards her n pinned her with an angry glare. Umm.. She sat back on the bed not absolutely sure why he was glaring her down. I was only going to my room. He grabbed her hand a little too hard n she winched as there was a cut above her wrist. Maan's snatched his hand back guiltily. I am sorry. He said n she stared at him dumbfounded. It didn't happen every day that Maan Singh Khurana said sorry. Anyways, you are not going anywhere. You are sleeping here'.with me. He said bluntly then smiled sweetly. I don't want both of us sleep to on that small bed of yours so don't think that I will let you go. He softly pushed her back, pulling her legs over the bed then covering her with duvet.
You don't have to do this. She spoke rather loudly, her eyes were dried otherwise there would have been tears in them. Just because I saved your life doesn't mean that you have to be nice to me. It was purely instinctual n I did it because of' Jia. It didn't sound convincing to even herself but that didn't stop the words from hurting him.
I am not doing this JUST BECAUSE you saved my life even when you didn't want to. Geet flinched at the words n Maan calmed himself. Tucking a finger below her chin, he made her look right into his eyes. I did it because'. I care for you. He had meant to end the sentence differently but somehow those words seized to come out in fear of one more rejection.
Don't lie to me. She muttered sadly under her breath scooting towards the end of the bed giving him her back pulling the covers close to her chest. She was too weak to fight her way to her room. Maan didn't pull her to him instead he drew closer to her at the end of the bed, more than half of the bed left empty. He placed a hand on hers she shrugged it away childishly but he wasn't going to buy any of that. He flung a leg over her waist trapping her leg n intimately making her back glue to his. His hand went across her tummy encaging her completely. She didn't protested more. Inwardly her heart was dancing n smiling, loving the attention yet mind knew it was momentarily, but it was exhausted right now so she gave up.
Geet didn't need any pill to sleep as she was pretty worn out without doing anything, also the pain killers had ample amount of sedatives in them. As for Maan, his sleeping pill was the girl in his arms, he felt content enough to sleep don't know after how long. After remaining stiff for a while Geet gradually relaxed n slept off hearing his words. I wasn't lying. He said nuzzling her neck n placing a kiss on the crook there.
Geet wriggled her hips back as something thick poked her. She opened her eyes instantly, scared to no limits though calmed down when realized where she was. Something pressed over her breast n it wasn't Jia's head this time. It was Maan's large palm cupping almost whole of her right globe into it. She attempted to get out of his grasp praying that he was asleep, too afraid n freaked out to check herself.
With her attempts his hold increased on her-the almost becoming complete-as his hand squeezed her. Thankfully he was still asleep she turned her head n the shift made her aware of what was poking her. A flush crept up her neck flooding her cheeks. Apparently he was sleeping but a certain part of his anatomy was more than awake. She struggled n he moaned. Sleeping entwined was a bad-bad idea. He snuggled closer in search for that perfect position. Unfortunately her frantic efforts were annoying his deep after-long-found sleep n he woke up with a groan. With a tightening jerk he put stoppage to all her efforts.

A hooded glance in her hazy eyes n he placed a lingering kiss on her jaw. She hissed as he bit her there tracing feather light kisses along the jaw n coming down. Her heart raced till it was thudding erratically.
Maan' Her hoarse voice called when he lowered himself completely on her. Her breasts flattened against his hard chest n that burning hot mouth of his was licking n sucking the underside of her chin. Dragging his lips to her ear he took the lobe in between them. The suction of his mouth on the sensitive flesh made her arch into him n she moved her hands to his back scratching the skin with her fingernails. He groaned n goose bumps rose on her skin. Holding onto the thin thread of rationality she tried to push him away. He pressed more over her his hands playing havoc all over her body, squeezing n kneading.
It was hard to tell when her hands from pushing him went into the phase of pulling him. May be when he bit on the pulse of her neck or may be when he rubbed his body erotically on hers. He sucked into the skin of her collar bone while his rock hard manhood pressed against her thigh. It was straining so hard that it was almost painful. A shot of pain hit her excruciatingly hard as she uttered those words between muffled sobs.
The same words which pained her confused him. Was it because of that rotten soul who filled her mang? Does it have to do' She clenched his vest getting stiff n he immediately dropped the subject just holding her to him.
9 days later,
Maan didn't start going to office. With three sick women-Dadimaa, Jia n specifically Geet-in house he had become a ladies servant. Annie after that morning when Maan had asked her to meet when she came back-which didn't happen due to Geet's accident-decided to keep low n stay home. Also she was needed at home n gave a part of her time to Jia n Rohan took care of Dadimaa. It was Rohan's plan so that Maan could concentrate on Geet.
Although both, Maan n Geet, slept together n Maan kept track of each of Geet's meals, medicines, the dressing routine of her wounds n everything else, the distance didn't seem to fade. The wall that Geet had built around herself was rather unbreakable. And, after that day when Geet cried Maan rarely touched her, the least he wanted was to get her upset. Her condition was bothering him but he was short of ways to do something. Away from Geet, a definite route was forming in his brain now to know the truth or at least get near to it but he didn't know if that was going to work or not.
They are taking it so slow. Rohan said almost pulling his hairs out of the roots.
They both need time. Dadimaa sighed.
Argh.. How much time do they need? Seriously with this speed this lifetime won't be enough for them.
