I think that after sapna files the case on Mansukh, sneha will talk to her and expose her dad's dirty ways, she will have a change of heart, and then atul will become the main villain.

i dont know about that. i think sapna has realized that she was wrong about everyone. i think sapna has realized that her father did wrong and she will take a stand. i think atul mehta probably did some dirty work to make it looks sapna filed the complaint. i dont think sapna would ever do something that foolish and especially against karan as well.
