I know they have shown cj trying to ruin jassi's life. But he was doing this inorder to stop the marriage because purab must have told him that armaan's not a good guy. At the end when the truth reveals cj will be jassi's best friend. Also you must have seen thhe article that says cj would at the end be "jassi's friend and ardent supportor".

If what you say is right that means Purab, and CJ both don't know what true love is all about. One can be happy with a lover no matter what the circumstances might be. On the other hand I think both purab, and CJ ruined Armaan's and Jassi's life.
