Well,, don't get me wrong. I am enjoying this show a lot and look forward to watching it everyday over some ghisa pita serials. It is full of suspense and drama.

But😕 somehow something does not look right. First of all the contestants. Do they really have the knowledge of so many cuisines? Looking at their background, it is hard to believe. Where was Khoku in the dhaba challenge?

Then I find the time limit totally insane. If you are cooking for a dhaba and making that amount of food, how much time will you need for discussing the menu, planning it, getting the ingredients, the cutting chopping and actual cooking time. Is it possible for a team of 4 to do all that in just 2 hours? I am sure there is a team of cooks helping them out in chopping, cutting at least, which is fair, but then they can mention it. I have seen Masterchef USA and Australia and for such tasks they do get help which is mentioned.

I know reality shows are actually directed as per program demands but I just want to say " don't consider audiences fools "
And I would not be surprised if the winner has also been decided already. It has to be a male winner this time who has a good personality. Ripu all the way 😆

NO OFFENSE to anyone.

None taken 😊

Believe me, these points all of us have commented on, one time or the other.

SP is living in a fool's paradise if it thinks we are so gullible, but then SP only does what it thinks is right 🤢 It thinks no viewer can cook and therefore we'll swallow everything hook, line and sinker.

Agree To cook for a Dabba is not at all an easy task... and the hours needed ...cannot be confined to an hour or 2...!
Actually i realised the flaws of editing when i saw Bigg boss version 6, we used to depend on the live stream and when watched the actual hourly episode, so many important things which we cud make us conclude wrongly were shown and the good ones were edited...😲😲😲.
Similarly in the edited version of MC, imagine the work done by some being not aired but instead someone who does a minimal work is being aired, gets the credit... like u pointed out what was Khoku doing... i cud see Khoku making only the roti batter... and not much was shown of her...i guess... but this always happens in the edited versions...sadly ...!
What happens offscreen etc, is only known to the contestants who obviously must have entered into a contract of not revealing the facts ...!

Agree.. even i feel many times that they are getting help which is not being telecasted. Also, judges must be tasting the dishes in private first, deciding on the results and then coming in front of the contestants to announce the results.

The time limit they set is insane..!!

Totally agree with you Laxmi.

At home, when we get bawarchis to come and cook dinner just for 50 people, they come with all the ingredients by noon.

It takes them hours to prep the vegs n masalas, etc. Then cooking takes somewhere between 2-4 hrs. And in order that the food is hot, they'll finish cooking just an hr before serving. And they're professionals!!

And MCI wants us to believe these amateurs are able to do everything in 2 hrs! 😲 😡

LOL.. Agree there is more than meets the eye. I am sure they get more time to think about the menu, etc before being shown running to the parlour as well.

In the case of the latest menu, I was surprised that any of them even knew avial. Though a traditional south Indian dish, it is not one you will find in hotels but is MUST at marriages.

I think the chefs give them ideas otherwise to an average north indian, south indian cuisine is limited to idli vada dosa and sambar . Saying words like thoran was silly as to any outsider, it is just sabzi
