Influenzer Nancy Grewal murdered in Canada: Police call it “Isolated,” Netizens aren’t convinced

The Indian digital community woke up to shocking news this week. Nancy Grewal, a 45-year-old YouTuber of Punjabi origin, was stabbed to death in Ontario, Canada, on the night of March 3. The tragic incident has left her followers, family, and many across India and Canada stunned and heartbroken.

What Happened On That Night

According to the LaSalle Police Service, officers and paramedics rushed to the 2400 block of Todd Lane shortly before 9:30 pm after receiving reports of a stabbing. When first responders arrived, they found Nancy critically injured with stab wounds. She was immediately taken to a nearby hospital by emergency medical services, but doctors were unable to save her.

By Wednesday morning, police had sealed off two homes between Canada Street and Bishop Street as part of the investigation. Visual markers were placed along a concrete walkway and near the entrance of one of the houses as officials gathered evidence. In an official statement, police confirmed Nancy’s identity and extended condolences to her loved ones. Authorities have described the case as an isolated incident, in an attempt to calm public concern.

Investigators have urged residents to share any CCTV or surveillance footage from the area. Detective Sergeant Jamie Nestor is leading the probe.
