Hola Aakriti.. I just started reading your SS.. Im enjoying it esp because its inspired by one of my Most Fav stories.

PART 3: I am with you

Madhu was wandering in the streets searching for her kid everywhere. But she didn't get any answer. She was crying looking around for her kid.
In the hospital the nurse woke up to get water and found madhu absent. She thought madhu was in washroom and went to check there but she was shocked to find it empty. Instantly something clicked her mind and she called RK. Rk reached the hospital as soon as possible.
"Did you find her??"
"No Dr., not till now. I have asked the staff on duty and we have checked all the rooms here"
"Did you check the 1st floor??"
"No Dr."
"Then go and do it now and before that call the gatekeeper on duty"
As the gatekeeper arrived rk asked "Did madhu leave the place??"
"No Dr."
"Are you sure??"
The gatekeeper hesitated.
"Were you sleeping???" Rk shouted.
"Uhmm... No...No Dr." he replied in a shaking voice.
"Oh please!! I can't waste more time!!" saying this angrily he left.
Before Rk could start his car he thought of calling at her place. He dialled the number "Wait! I should not tell them now. They would be worried. I would have to explain them about today's incident and then things would become more complicated. I will have to do this myself." rk thought and left on the mission to search madhu.

He searched for her everywhere he could. He stopped at certain spots and called out for her on the top of his voice. When he felt there was nothing else he could do, he decided to visit her place. As his car streched through the gates of the mansion, he quickly stepped out and entered the mansion. What he saw was not something he had expected.
"Please ma please!! Please tell me where is my kid. I want to meet him ma please. I know you know where he is but still hiding it from me for some reason unknown to me. But ma how can you devoid me of my child. Or if i stop being selfish, what about my kid ma?? Won't he be missing his mother. Please ma please..." as tears dropped out from her eyes padmini's eyes also became moist. She had already seen her daughter suffer. But now it was too much. Now she couln't resist.

She finally opened her mouth to speak up, "Calm down madhu i know where your child is. He is..."
"How dare you leave the hospital Miss. Malick!!!!" before she could speak anymore rk cut her off as he saw things going out of hand and shouted, his voice made everyone realise his presence with shock written on their face.
Madhu turned around with her teary eyes to face him. She wiped out her tears and moved in front of him.
"How dare I Dr. Rishab kundra??? How dare you to keep me away from my child!!! How dare you to keep a child away from his mother!!!!"
"I have told you Miss. Malik you dont have a child!!!"
"Oh really Dr. Rishab kundra???? You say so because i did not answer your questions. So i will have to pass your stupid test before i get to meet my child!! So here it goes...
Name- Ishan
Favourite dish- Aalo parantha
Milk is what he hates the most,
And Sea Green is the favourite colour!!!
What else Dr. Rishab kundra!!! Don't you have more stupid questions lined up for your stupid test!!!"

Madhu's voice was ringing in his ears. He couldn't believe what he had just heard. He was really happy to hear all the correct answers. But happiness does not lasts long !! If she had answered everything correctly, she would demand her child. And if she did that and reached there or met ishan she would get to know her past which she had not recovered. She was yet to regain her memory and if she saw that all now it might lead to problems. She might get confused and stress her mind. Also she might not accept the truth. It might be more difficult for her to remember her past or it might be easier. But he could not take a risk. If she naturally recovered her memory she would not have complications.

"What happened Dr. Sealed your tongue??? Or lost your voice???"
Rk had to think os something really fast to distract her.
"Now i want my child."
"But you broke the rule!!!"
"Rule??? What rule???"

"You are not allowed to meet your family without my permission Miss. Malik. Forgot that??? Also if you keep that aside you still left the hospital without permission and moreover without informing anyone!!! Now answering questions won't do anything!!!" Rk said with an angry and serious look.
"But..."
"Go sit in the car"
"I won't" Madhu was determined.
"I said go or you will have to go through a more painful punishment of not meeting your child ever. Now leave!!!" hearing this madhu had no option but to leave. She left with a sad face and disappointed as she couldn't answer him.
Rk turned around to leave after she had left.

"Why are you doing this rk?? " hearing padmini's voice rk stopped in his tracks and turned around.
"Why are you doing this to my daughter??? Why???" padmini said with teary eyes. She stepped forward and came directly ib front of him.
"Why rk??? Why are you keeping her away from her child?? You don't have a right to do this rk, but she has a right!!! She has a right to meet her son!!" Padmini was defending her daughter.
"I have already explained it to both of you sasuma. I cannot...
"You cannot what rk??? You cannot let her meet her son even after she remembers him!!! Why rk?? Why??"

"I cannot answer your questions now. Madhu is waiting for me." and before padmini could say anything he turned around and rushed to his car.

He saw madhu waiting and unlocked the car, made her sit, sat himself and drove off. The entire journey was silent.
When they reached the hospital he left madhu in her room after making sure she had lied down.
The place which madhu loved hours back was looking like a cage now. She wanted to go out and be free.
The next day since madhu was not takng anything rk called her to his cabin but she did not reach. He called her two more times but she didn't come. Now he decide to himself go to her. As he was proceeding towards her room he met her in the corridor. "Where have you been madhu?? I have been calling for you for the last half an hour. Why didn't you respond madhu???"

"How does it matter if at all i respond to you. You don't want me to meet my family or my kid. You just want me to stay away from my past and everyone related to me. You want me to stay away from the world!!"

"It is not like that madhu"
"Ofcourse it is like that. You are keeping a mother away from her child!! I HATE YOU!!!"
Her last words pierced his heart. He never thought she would say this. He was not able to take in what had happened.

"Madhu, listen to me." he held her by her shoulders. "I need to talk to you"
"But i m not intrested in talking to you!!"
"Madhu it is really important please. This time i m not asking as a doctor, i m asking as your friend. We need to talk madhu or your case may go out of hand. Please madhu..."
Madhu was not at all willing to listen to him but then her eyes by mistake landed onto his and she had no choice.

"Fine!! Then speak up!! Now!!"
"Dr. Kundra, there is an emergency" said the nurse in a hurry. "We need you."
Rk looked at the nurse then at madhu.
"Madhu could you please wait in my cabin. I'll be back soon"
"Fine!!" and she left.

Rk had tackled the problem with the new patient who had been through a major shock as he was told about his past and that was the reason why he did not favour just telling about the past but to help them regain their past memory. He was walking through the corridors when suddenly all the lights went off. Something clicked rk and he took faster steps towards his cabin.
Here madhu was waiting for him in the cabin, and when the lights went off she started breathing heavily. She got up from her chair and looked everywhere to find someone or some light, her body shivering.

She heard the sound of someone's steps.
"Who's there??" she asked in a shivering voice.
She was distracted by a source of light which was apparently a lighter and then she heard the voice "Are you afraid of the dark???"

Madhu recognised it as rk's voice. Rk came near her with the flame in between their eyes.
"Yes"
"Since when??"
"my childhood days"
"So you remember them"
"Of course i do"
"And you remember your child"
This made a tear slip from her eyes. Rk softly wiped it away as he remembered the old days...
"Don't cry madhu. If you remember your chilhood and your child you can also remember other things from your past." his voice was assuring.

"But how??"
"I'll help you."
"You will?? Promise??"
"Pakka wala promise madhu. I will!! Don't worry i m with you."
This made her eyes go teary and she hugged him.
Rk was taken aback by her sudden action but he soon hugged her back as he was not going to miss this opportunity. This hug reminded him of his love filled days. But this time it did remind madhu of something too...
"The mission starts now" Rk thought to himself.

NOTE: I have decided to rule off the ITC thing. Actually it was related to time travel. But i found that it was difficult to write with past and present madhu. Even in this part the man in dark would have been the Itc president. Sorry to those who had been expecting from itc...

Also if that is so... i need to rename the SS...
