What a perfect B'day gift!!

Read all the 7 parts in one go!!

Loved each one of them a lot!!

Seriosuly even now this shocking ritual is quite prevalent in India…. specially in villages!!!

Am so glad that Dadi came to stop this horrid think from taking place…

Though am sure the person who died was not Maan….

But am still under confusion that then where is Maan…

And why didn't he come back.. like its been so long na???

With the 7th part… Got this clear that it's Maan whom Geet met…

Though its clear she didn't see his face… only eyes!!!

But am shocked!!

He still carries that arrogance and attitude…

Whcoh somewhere makes it clear that he had not lost his memory….

Then why???

Is it like because of his so called ideologies he conveniently left Geet to face the world alone….

Though maybe his plan got a little haywire with all the death confusion???

Possibly he doesn't know the extent of harm but still if he left Geet and Dadi to fend for themselves deliberately then his crime is not worth forgiveness!!

Sigh!! me blabbers too much!!

But couldn't control myself!!!

Felt shaken with Geet's turmoil…

though i really want to wake and wait and read ur update but my eyes are drooping... its going to be 2 here... so am leaving... but the first thing i will do when i wake up tom is get my lappy for reading ur update...

Part 8

Through out the journey she was annoyed. It was strange she had never lost control of her emotions like this before. Forget losing she didn't even care. Infact she used to blame herself & here she was angry at him. She came back to the room & calmed herself with the meditation. Those eyes still haunted her. Wat was she even expecting a stranger to help when every one she knew only bruised her in every way possible.

A week had passed & she was still on her hunt for summer home. She tried with all her known acquaintances & the notices on the college notice board. She found a dam reasonable notice for accommodation in sharing basis. It was close to college too. She googled the address & then spoke to the person who was looking to share her place only for the summer. Geet crossed her fingers.
Geet ' hi I was calling to check if u still have the place for summer
yes.. almost the person on the other side screamed
Geet shied in relief.
They exchanged the basic information.

Next day Geet went to the place & confirmed. Well she was all set now. It was a PG the girl stayed in. It was huge place & they had one room for themselves. They could use the washroom, kitchen & laundry. It was more than wat Geet bargained for.

Couple of more weeks for summer vacation to start. Now a days Geet was concentrating on the final few papers to submit before the vacation. She brought her usual grocery & was returning home in the bus when the bus she traveled met with an accident. The front part was smashed up. All the passengers placed in the back seats were safe. All passengers began to help each other before the bus caught into fire. Geet was abt to get up when a body of one of the co-passenger fell on her lap. She froze with the memories that began to play. She was surrounded in fire again with a body in her lap. She wanted to scream but like her voice just felt choked. She felt herself in the same spot yet again.. but this time she was not sure if she was scared of death.. she starred blankly at the fire when everyone else was screaming & running out.

People tried to caution her but she seemed numb to respond. She had completely blanked out. Nothing made sense to her.. was it like her chance to keep her wows!!! when she felt a hand harshly tug her out
r u out of ur mind? He barked bringing her back to reality making her fall on his chest. She glanced at him.. into those angered eyes. Her hazels longingly stared into wat she has lost.

he glanced around & then looked at her. She still clung close to him searching something he didn't understand. He tried to thing of ways to get them out from here only if those hazels let him to.

She was still safe distance from fire but she sat like a statue not helping herself.
Why do u have to always get into to trouble infront of me? he spoke in sheer annoyance trying to break the emergency window to escape still holding her hand in his. She was still trying to get in terms with the situation. She looked at him & the grip in around her wrist.

He managed to get them both out of the situation. The crowd cheered him while she still sat holding the blanket trembling in fear.
His words reverberating in her mind woh mara hain tum nahi
He glanced at her once before giving his statement to the police & leaving from there.

Is she out of her mind to sit like that he wondered. He was so frustrated with the turn of events today. First his clients & then this accident & then him unnecessarily getting involved in it.

He closed his eyes remembering her staring at fire like that blankly. Dam this girl was driving him insane. He can't understand how some one could just sit like that seeing the fire almost consuming, he poured a cold water on his head from the fridge when he heart some one walk into the kitchen

He looked away still disturbed
she slowly held his hand kya huwa? Itne pareshan kyun ho?
He immediately straighten himself looking at her grip & then at her. There was something abt this girl. The only girl he allowed near him. They shared a sweet relation & he knew she was different. Why not he has known her from childhood. They have been together through all the hardships of life. The only person he would trust in this cunning world.
