RK the Villain or the Hero?.. Edited..

For a second put aside the fact Vivian is playing the role. Imagine some random actor playing RK, would people still support him?

RK's actions remind me of a villain/anti-hero from a show I used to watch. That character was labelled as an abuser and was accepted as such, but here just because RK is termed as the hero, no-one labels him as an abuser.

If RK was a villain he would be the perfect villain. Now just imagine I'm describing a villain.. (Once again block Vivian from your mind please)..
This villain plays with a girls heart, breaks her heart, humiliates her, throws her out of his life, tries to make her life hell, and then forces her back to his house, in the process kisses her hand quite clearly without her consent, handcuffs her to his bed, threatens to take off his clothes in front of her knowing full well she would hate it, and forces her to be his wife, or at least act like it.

It seems like the perfect villain. The actions of such a person would disgust anyone. Everyone would think he's such a horrible person and deserves to be locked up or in a mental institution.

Who would think I'm describing a hero?😕

I doubt anyone would. But I keep seeing so many posts constantly justifying RK's actions, but if someone who doesn't watch Madhubala, decided to watch an episode of it, I'm sure they would think RK is the villain and not the hero. Hell if we were told in the beginning that he was the villain, I'm sure all of us would think he is perfect for the role.

Just making him the lead does not make his actions ok.

A couple of people have started making personal attacks on me. I should've expected that people
won't accept criticism of RK.

My points..

• I never said Vivian is not the lead, I said they are making him act like a villain. Two completely different things.
• This was not about bashing RK, please point out where I bashed him. This was simply about how I don't like the turn the writers have taken with RK. Yes I know he is not the typical lovey dovey hero and that is not what I want or expected, but there is a limit, and surely everyone can see that RK's actions have gotten gradually worse.😕
• If people are so hell-bent on making attacks, why hide behind sarcasm.
• This was not about Madhu or Sultan, or even Vivian and Drashti, simply RK's behaviour.
• By people comparing Drashti with Vivian, it just shows no-one is able to have an unbiased opinion, no-one wants to see past their favourite actors.
• But just to clear the air, in no way do I support all of Madhu's actions. Madhu is still doing wrong now, one minute she falls for RK, the next she hates him again, I don't like her fickle behaviour. I wish she would make up her mind. There are other things that also annoy me about her and she is by no means perfect, but this is not about Madhu.
  

Lastly I am not a hater of the show. I want the show to improve and I know Rishabala are the lead and will be together in the end. For this reason I don't want RK's character to be ruined. I want his character to improve, is that so bad?

I don't want them to make RK all soppy, but less egotistical, and hopefully he is more focused on his ishq and junoon, isn't that what we all hoped for? But at the same time, I don't want him taking drastic actions like tying Madhu to a bed, that is just wrong.

PS. Isn't the RK people saw in the precap the kind of RK they want? Slightly crazy, but sweet and after Madhu in a cute way, not in a completely forceful way?

And

Why is it that when a known Vivian or RK fan makes a post criticizing and saying similar things to me about RK it's ok and RK fans are ok to criticize the character, but when someone who isn't an RK mega-fan makes such a post, people start a fight?

no doubt you are right and i am still waiting to see that when his real hero come i mean at last every film if hero clear his situation and provide reason a solid reason what ever he done wrong with his heroine has some secret reason and for good sake for her than every one forgive him
same like here what ever rk done is wrong but as hero we has some hope at last he will do some good and provide us a solid reason of his behavior than same like film we are ok and it will be acceptable as filmy or fiction show.
and no doubt as RK aka Vivian d Sena doing great job and looking superb VILLAIN.

For me RK is a villain...I dont want any hero to enter...I want the story to turn out to be the hero for Madhubala n she comes out of her misery victorious..

For me, RK is the villain.

He's an anti-hero, he's never at any time supposed to be completely good or even completely bad. You're not supposed to relate,emphasize, or personalize his character according to your standards of norm.
