Serial plot goofs that defy logic

Hope there is no other thread for pointing out intentional/ unintentional goofs in the serial plot.

Someone made a thread asking where is Batuk's wife and I had the exact same question. In fact, where was Batuk at Sanjay's engagement is the first question I had when Batuk was introduced as a close friend of Amit and Sanjay.

Batuk is happily dancing away with Amit and Amita's friends at the sangeet and spends so much time with those guys, so how realistic is it to not have his wife at the party ? Yes very true. I had raised the exact question in IF.😉

Not just this, there are too many things which are looking more and more unrealistic (agreed it is a serial and creative license is allowed to make up a storyline where everything is not realistic. But come on , they shouldn't disrespect the viewer's intelligence too much). Some of the other major aspects that defy logic :

(1) Amita's friend Jigna is supposed to have delivered about a month ago, and she is part of the friends' performance at the sangeet ( how did she get the time to rehearse etc with a newborn ? 😊 ) Agreed. Even I had the same thought and was planning to raise it in the IF. Even I had the same query and was planning to raise it in the IF. Jigna being a new mom is supposed to spend time with her baby.How is it practically possible for her to spend time with her close friends (however close they maybe 😕)

(2) Amit and Amita barely got two days to rehearse , so when did all their friends get time to rehearse their elaborate acts ? Maybe they all are superbly talented. Ek bar kiya aur sab kuch aa gaya.😊

(3) Phalguni tells Amit that Rujuta is her best friend, hence she invited her. Is it possible that when you have a best friend is living in the same city as you, your families/children have never met each other so far (until Amit saw Snehal's photo) ? Don't you attend at least some parties/functions at each others homes if not just visit each other sometimes ? 😊 Amit is a nerd. So maybe he never attends parties !!😛

(4)About the diary saga, At Amit's place , Atul almost locates the diary and picks it up from the gift basket, but puts it back immediately as Amit's father comes there. What was the need to act like he was doing something illegal or shameful ? Couldn't he just pick it up ? Would Amit's father insist on reading Amita's personal diary if he saw Atul holding it ? 😕 Didn't Atul know it was a ticking time bomb that had to be removed from there at all costs ? Arre CVs had asked him to leave it there. Nahi to Phalguni ko kaise pata chalge bhai?? 😛

(5) Amita and her friends are all supposed to be around 20 years of age. How come any of them don't go to college/ do a job of any kind ? It's like they are all doing nothing waiting to get married ? 😕 Who does that in this day and age ? I didn't watch the first several episodes of the serial, so I may not be aware if they showed anything to clarify this point , so correct me on this.🤣

(6) The night before the sangeet, Amita asks her mother 'sab log aagaye' ? In a house where a wedding is taking place, do any of the guests not meet the bride after they arrive ? Wasn't Amita supposed to be rehearsing in her house itself ? Even if she was somewhere outside, is it realistic that you don't meet any of the guests when you return , no matter how late it is ? 👍🏼 Agreed.If they had arranged some hotel for the guests to stay then we understand but still some mami/kaki will surely visit their house first. How come no one has come?

(7)Sanjay is supposed to be working in London and is in India on a vacation to get married, but there is no signs of his and Preeti's wedding though they were engaged long before Amit and Amita who are now getting married. How many months of vacation does Sanjay have ? 😊. Actually he was in a hurry to get married and return back to London. Yaadash kho gayi shayad 🤣
