arjun was regretting of wat he has done.. calling it a galthi..and ayesha pehle to she thinks dat wat had happened between them was a momentarily action..it was mistake and arjun wen called it a mistake then she was feeling sad wat does she want??her ego stubbornness is letting her accept her love for arjun...she doesn't want to talk to him,doesn't want to sort out their problm..kya hai ye?
this girl is totally confused😕 or i can say she thinks that he doesn't love her..that's y she doesn't want his sympathy and she is tring to be vry strong
chalo atleast he came to know that pari is her sister's daughter..


i hope they will soon talk to each other sort it out everything widout letting their egos interrupting their convo

Chapter 17A: Bell the wild cat...

After a few minutes of silence, she spoke up by herself "Pari meri sister ki beti hai..."

He looked at her in surprise for a second when she continued sensing his next question "woh ab iss duniya mein nahi rahi...she is dead!"

She completed it without any emotions attached to it...But he could feel the pain and sorrows which reflected in her blatant reply...He could see her invisible tears which she was shutting down not wanting to exhibit before him!

He let her be to herself for the rest of the drive...He didn't want to intrude much to the details about her sister...he knew she would tell whenever she felt to do so...

Once in Mumbai, he pulled up the SUV inside ETF and turned to her side "tum teek ho na?"

Aisha nodded silently which was quite unlike of her and then got off from the vehicle and strode into the building...

She was waiting for the lift when he walked in too...She didn't show the previous enthusiasm or haste to abandon him there and go first...She seemed calmer than ever...And Arjun didn't feel so good seeing her like that...It was a sign that she was damn upset...perhaps the memories of her sister and her death left her in that dismayed state!

She looked best in her daredevil jungili billi avatar...or he felt so...he smacked himself and snapped out "what am i thinking?? And that too about her???"

They had hardly reached the office when the next case was delegated to ETF...

A girl was found dead in her apartment...from the first looks of it, it appeared like a suicide and the girl had shot herself...She had also talked to the suicide help cell just before she did that...So it was almost a confirmed case of suicide...

But then ETF was called for to investigate it more deeply and confirm the same...

The girl's parents stood crying in one corner of the room...her mother was crying out continuously and muttering about how she had already tried to end her life once before this...and cursing their ill luck to have left her alone at home that day...a failed love affair was being termed the reason for this suicide...She was also cursing the guy who had ditched her for another girl!

Aisha was getting annoyed and frustrated as the investigation proceeded...Something which lay deep buried in the dark corners of her heart seemed to have surfaced out...

When Rathod gestured Aisha to console the girl's mom, she walked to her and spoke up "iss ladki keliye rona bandh kijiye...ussne ek baar bhi aap ke baare mein nahi socha aur chali gayi aap ko tadapne keliye chodhke...she doesn't deserve your tears mam!"

Aisha's words shocked everyone there...Arjun had heard her too and looked to her side...He was sure that there was more to those words...

Aisha pain and hurt feeling reflected in those words too...her eyes were cold and devoid of tears or emotions but her heart was brimming with it...somehow, he could feel it and read them on her stern or rather angry face!

The girl's mom looked angrily at Aisha...At that state, such words for her daughter would be the last thing she wanted to hear...but she didn't respond much...

Before Arjun walked to her, Rathod sensed trouble and asked Aisha to come back to help him with something else...

Aisha snapped out and gathered herself up, brushed away the past memories and emotions and got back to the case...

It was soon deducted that it wasn't a suicide but a murder which was being disguised and shown as suicide...Arjun's intuitions and the brisk focussed actions from ETF solved the mystery and the real culprits are caught...

Late evening...the team comes back to office...Aisha had left with Rathod from the crime scene...Arjun, Shree and Chotu had came back together...

But Arjun notices Rathod walking in alone..."Aisha kahaan hai?" he subconsciously muttered to himself...

As if reading his mind, Rathod voiced out to none in particular...as if to the entire team "Aisha ko kuch kaam tha...isilye woh raaste mein uthar gayi..."

Arjun wondered what her urgent work was...

Though the case was ultimately proved as a murder rather than a suicide, but the mere mention of a suicide, the whole crime scene and the sad, crying faces of the girl's parents were enough to trigger off the haunting memories for Aisha...

Her baby sister Aashu's face and her dead hanging form were constantly flashing before her eyes...she couldn't take it any longer...she had to get it out of her mind...She had to divert her mind...

Though she landed at the pub and also ordered a drink or two for herself, she couldn't get herself to gulp it down so easily as she used to do before...something prevented her from drinking it...

She sat there watching the girls and guys rocking the dance floor...Such places, parties and drinks weren't new to her...but she couldn't ignore the fact that the whole atmosphere did make her forget atleast a bit of her painful memories...The vacuum in her life and the grave memories of her sister always left her in a desperate state...but the hussle and loud music in such places made her push off the sad side of her and she tried to immerse in this ocean where nobody bothered about the other person's life or worries...

She couldn't ignore Pari whatsoever...Pari was indeed a beautiful reality in her life but again even her face and thoughts made Aisha remember the harsh realities of her life! Pari's birth and the very reason for her being in this world had snatched away Aashu forever...

Irony of life, what else could be said about it! Even beautiful things brought along with it ugly and painful memories...Amidst all this, she didn't know why his face also flashed in her mind at that instant...she chuckled at the mere thought...Him, and the intimate moments with him...all those were beautiful too which she would cherish forever in her life...

She smacked herself for breaking the promise to herself that she would never ever think about Arjun and their night together...

Just then, someone from the dance floor who knew her already came up to her

"hey baby, come na...lets rock the dance floor..."

Aisha shrugged away his hand off her "not interested..."

He wasn't letting go so easily...he forced her but she shot a glaring look..."get lost dude..."

He went away shrugging...she put her head down on the counter and it would be just a few minutes when she felt someone patting her shoulders...She thought it should be the same guy or someone else from the dance floor...She was annoyed and raised her head voicing angrily "tumhe ek baar kahaa na..not interested...leave me alone dude..."

The last few words never left her lips since she was left stunned seeing who was behind her...

"it was him...how the hell did he land here?"

She was totally confused by his sudden appearance there!

An hour before, when he knew that Aisha had got down on the way, he had tried calling her but she wasn't picking her calls...how would she?? She had already put the phone on silent mode, the moment she entered the pub!

Arjun had already sensed that she was not in her right state of mind...his intuitions told him to check up on her and not to leave her alone like that!...

So after a few futile attempts to reach her, he did what he thought was the best...Get Shree to track her phone location and there he was bang on right behind her at Night life pub!

He raised his eyebrows as if enquiring "what the hell are you doing here?"

She sarcastically looked at him and spoke up in a surprised tone "sir, aap yahaan??...aapne kab shuru kiya?? Matlab you don't drink na?"

She grinned as if mocking him but he chose to ignore that and tugged her arm to get up "chalo...main tumhe ghar drop kartha hoom!"

Aisha laughed and let go off all the professional formalities...with it drained away the respectful addressing

"oh hello...main tumaari GF nahi...so you don't own me...just leave me alone...waise bhi aaj raat yahi mera ghar hai...poori raat party karungi"

Arjun shook his head in anger and spoke up "Aisha, paagalpann ki bhi ek haddh hoti hai...yeh sab karke tum kya prove karna chahthi ho?"

Aisha: Paagalpann, huh??? Maine toh abi kuch bhi nahi kiya...

[Saying that she gulped down the drinks which she had left untouched so far as if to show off to him and annoy him further and went towards the dance floor and joined the guy who had called her for the dance...

A rocking song just started rolling and Aisha drowned herself in rocking and swaying to it...]

Arjun let a deep sigh and told to himself "this is not going to be easy...but taming her is definitely going to be interesting, very interesting!"
