Ajay Devgn wants to move on from 'Himmatwala'

Buzz is that Ajay wants Rohit Shetty to speed things up on their upcoming film to leave behind the bitter memories of his recent release

Ajay Devgn was almost having a dream run at the box office that was abruptly brought to a halt thanks to Sajid Khan's Himmatwala.

While his previous films Singham, Bol Bachchan and Son of Sardaar raked in some pretty impressive moolah, his film with Sajid sank without a trace. Now word is that Ajay has asked director Rohit Shetty to speed up on the work on their next film, apparently to leave behind the bitter memories of his recent release.

An industry insider says, "This was the first time Ajay had stepped out of his comfort zone of working with directors like Rohit Shetty, Prakash Jha or Ashwini Dheer to join hands with Sajid. He is extremely disappointed with the film's results."

Another source close to the actor adds, "Ajay wants to restore his lost glory at the BO and has asked his trusted aide Rohit to speed up things on their next. They have done nine films together out of which eight have been hits."
