Avi... š¤ I so loved this whole part... And the song don't even go there I have been listening to it on repeat since yesterday. It was so apt for this part, beautifully describing the emotions & sentiments Maan feels for his lady love, Geet. ā¤ļø Maan who can't express what he feels for her, this song did it. I so understand why he wants to have his first dance with Geet on this song. Not only cause it was something that his parents liked to hear, especially his dad so that he feels somewhere Geet & himself can feel their love & acceptance to their relation; but also beacuse this song actually speaks of his love, desires, passion & depth of bonding he wants to share with Geet. Someone whom he shares everything with & also who comes to be in his presence every moment of his life, an integral part. He adores her as a delicate flower & also knows she will adorn his life as a precious pearl. š³
The song is my hubby's favorite to sing. We live very far from my parents and in those early days when our car did not have a working cassette/CD player we used to play antakshari for the trip. Proud to say that we could make the nine hour trip with breaks of course and not repeat songs. Both of us love singing although we have no training we do it for fun.
Hayee... I'm once again falling for this Maan. He is strong, passionate & possesive yet has a soft & vulnerable side to him which is just reserved for his Geet. But yet not revealed to her because of his inability to confess it to her. The whole description of how he envisions them as a couple during their first dance was so beautiful & adorable. It is so many times we feel having such dreams are something only exclusively done by girls, forgetting mostly that even boys have their own dreams woven ... & you have done such justice to it all. š His want to have a connect with her eyes while dancing & his possession he feels over her so well put here. I'm liking him so much.
His dad is such a strong & integral part of his life, even when they aren't present physically in his life anymore yet he has made his Dad's words be alive & active in his day-day desicions & actions. Both the advices of his father he still remembers & uses them fruitfully to earn the respect inspite of prejudices & easy going attitude of his employees. It is so true that sometimes we are blinded by appearances & prejudices attached with the person, especially if he is a teenager out from a college or still persuing studies. But Maan under the guidance & training received form his parents since long has been fruitfully using it for his own self-respect & his comapny now. Parents always lead us to our own betterment. Maan on his part is doing more than he is capable of to make sure his family & business doesn't suffer at all & he takes the hardwork of his grandparents & patrents to much greater heights.
I agree. I think everyone around you that takes an interest in you and your future somehow ends up being a mentor. You may not realize that now but it seeps into your unconscious mind and you make better decisions having had that experience.
Something that I couldn't help noticing was mention of Krishna... š I couldn't help but that did catch my notice, I don't know whether you mentioned it just like that but I did like it when Maan observed her doing her timepass. š
Krishna's timepass is because she loves my story but does not show up to comment... so it's my way to say stop goofing off otherwise I'll put you in my story.š
Afterall the hard & stern face he keeps in front of his workers & then once he achieves what he wants & expects... I loved how he goes back to be the teenager he is..š³ He knows Geet occupies all his thoughts yet very well uses it not to be detered away from his goals & achievements but uses it as a support to move much ahead in life taking Geet along with him. I loved how Geet - his love is the one who manages to bring the teenager residing in him out for the time he is with her. He is mature & quite responsible for his age for the circumstances life has tossed in front of him... but yet a respite in all this is his love - Geet who makes him to be teenager to goof up, have the awareness & attraction, desires, being head over heels in love yet not able to put words to it...
So both remain silent & keep having eyelocks ... their eyes doing all the talking. As you use music so integrally I'm reminded of a song with their situation..."Chup tum raho... chup hum rahe..." Though they haven't yet reched there, but yes are on that part... š³
Me waiting for more... thanks for such a beautiful part... š
