So here is my question - what is your plot? What is the purpose of your story - meaning what do you want to tell the reader...ask yourself that...think about what journey do you want to take us on...why has Asad left his home and why has he been away for so long. Is there are reason the story is set in 1928? Or could it have been set during any time period? There has to be some significance between Asad leaving home and 1928...now using this help give us a story.

Was this in your English syllabus this year?????????

Because this was one of those stories that I had to study and answer the most irritating question of all times "Was it infatuation or attraction the boy felt for the girl?"!

Yes! And it is one story which made mine and my buddies brains go for a hike on the hills! Well, of course it is a lovely story, but the questions we had to face during our board exams were just mind boggling! 😆

Anyways, I am still waiting the author to continue what she has in mind!

Yes Ananya! It was and I absolutely hated that infatuation versus true love! Ahhh!!! mera dimaag kharaab ho gaya tha!!!
