I think Ayaan hearing Zoya's music box is going to come in handy. I think down the line he will hear the same music and perhaps put something together. Maybe Humeira has the same one.

I thought so too. There was a reason Ayan had to hear the music box. Maybe Humeira might have one too and when he asks about it Ayan could be the one who unravels the mystery for Zoya and stops her from going to NY.

Although I would much prefer it to be Asad but I don't know if he can be that up front with his feelings just yet.

When they had Ayaan commenting on the music box, I also felt that this was somehow going to be important at some future point...maybe Humera has the same music box also given to her by her father, and when Ayaan hears it he will be reminded of Zoya and make a connection.
