I knew it the second she started babbling like a kid in the car and he had a forlorn expression that they were going to a tombstone.

Her innocence.

Her hope.

Her anguish.

And Asad was there right next to her. He held her when she thought there's nothing left for her.

The way his heart broke when she went on and on about what she would say to her father.

The way her eyes lit up and the way he couldn't meet it in the car.

The way she begged him to make everything right and his hopelessness because he couldn't.

Perhaps amidst her tears he realised he could never let go of her. Perhaps in his arms she realised there was nothing to hold her back.

PS-As far as television is concerned not many managed to make me feel anguish but today Surbhi managed to take my heart by the noose.

I swear I am heartbroken and I know her father is alive. Surbhi was just fantastic. She is the only Indian telly actress who has managed to make me cry. Bless her.xx

The AsYa scene was just out of this world. Asad standing beside her as he always has when her world has come crashing down. The utter pain and helplessness on his face when he realized that maybe this time even he couldn't bring a smile on her face. Zoya breaking apart in his arms...her need to question the very fact of what she has just seen. God that scene was so beautifully done!

Gul you have outdone yourself with this show I have to say!!! KaBhi are just amazing.

Fantastic post RC ! U write so well , surbhi as zoya was fantastic today .I cry very rarely especially were Indian television is concerned but I am actually crying now and asad's expression in the precap just put me over the edge I am literally bawling now !!

She was outstanding. One of the most iconic scenes in TV. I wonder did LM direct this one or was it AK? The direction was flawless. The actors were flawless.
