story behind mrunal audition..;)

Mrunal Thakur, the lead girl of Star Plus' Mujhse KuchhKehti.. Yeh Khamoshiyaan is just one show old, but the girlseems to be a 'master' when it comes to making her own high-handed choices.
We hear that Mrunal like all other Star Plus actors, is under an exclusive contract with the channel. And Star Plusactually wanted her to auditionfor the new lead's role in theirflagship weekend show, Arjun . 4 Lions Films, producers of Arjun kept scheduling her audition daily, but the girl never turned up. She kept giving excuses that she is busy shooting for the final late night sequences of her show Khamoshiyaan . But the fact was that even after the shoot of Khamoshiyaan wrapped up, Mrunal took no interest to turn up for the audition, stating 'tiredness' as the reason. A source told us that Mrunal did irk the channel authorities by not auditioning for Arjun , and even got into an argument with them.
We tried contacting Mrunal, but she did not revert to our calls.
When contacted, Producer of Arjun , Gorky told us, "Yes, we had offered Mrunal to audition for Arjun . But she never turned up even after a wait of few days. We could notwait long as we had to start shoot with the new person."
We shall soon come up with more updates!!!
