Utho Jago Pakistan

So has anyone been watching the show for the past couple or so months? How do you think Ahsan and Sanam Jung compare with Shaista ? Since I do not like Shaista, I am inclined towards Ahsan and Sanam, they are making the show more bearable. Ahsan's cute smile and silliness is a plus! Shaista should just not come back 😆 Plus it's always nice to see some younger, fresher people hosting a morning show, it's a good change. I am surprised some people on the fb page are thrashing the show asking for Shaista to come back quick, oh well what else can one expect? Thoughts about the hosting and show these days in Shaista's absence?

NB: I have only watch Utho Jago Pakistan randomly here and there and I did not like it at all, caught some recent episodes and felt it was better thanks to the substitute hosts.

lol I catch it sometimes here & there..my mom watches it though. I find these 2 more lively..Shaista's so darn boring. Ahsan is so energetic and cute..I'm more surprised by him as I've already seen Sanam Jung host as a VJ on Aagtv. Sanam already has a lot of experience with hosting because of the VJ bit.. So, for me Ahsan is more of a treat. 😆 He looks adorable whenever I do see him.

I was thinking of making a topic on this for a couple days! 😆 They are so cute! <3 They have the most adorable jokes, and he always interupts her and bugs her cause she cant read small urdu. And she hits him! 😳 They're so, so cute!!

The thing I noticed about these two is that they're never awkward around each other which is a nice and refreshing thing to see. That's hardly seen on our shows..everyone's just so conservative and you wait for the female actress and male actor to break the silence and just act normal. The best thing about these two are that they have a really fun time hosting together and seem so cordial. You sense chemistry between the two on a mere show which is very rare.

I've seen Ahsan teasing Sanam about when she's going to get married..Sanam slapping Ahsan's shoulder while laughing, putting a bit of mehndi on his cheek etc 😆...it's nice to see them just behaving like friends without many reservations. It's not like they go overboard or anything either..so yeah definitely better than Shaista.

I don't have satellite but I am thinking I will watch more episodes on youtube when I have nothing better to do. Ahsan has surprised me as well, he is just silly and outgoing. Sanam as a vj is annoying but she has improved a lot as a host that she isn't annoying. She isn't trying hard like she used to so I am impressed with her graph.

I agree, I think they have great camaraderie; they interact with each other so freely and it does not look fake. They are so relaxed and I think this is exactly what is needed in morning shows. When Shaista returns, I hope that these 2 get their own show together. Their chemistry is refreshing.

Lol they were discussing Mathira's birthday and they told people to text her age (the options were 18, 21, and 16). Ahsan made me laugh because I could just see that he was itching to make an indirect comment about her supposed age. Then Sanam made one instead, she asked the audience to pick one or just say another number not from the options. 😆

Well missy you should have done it earlier because I beat you to it muhahaha! They are definitely really cute together, Ahsan especially, his excitement is just so contagious.

LOLL @ Mathira's supposed age. I'm sure Ahsan wanted to burst out laughing but tried hard not to. She's definitely NOT 21 if that's what this was trying to imply in any way..of course no 16 or 18..or so I hope not 😆. Speaking of Mathira..she's such jokes. I actually enjoy her presence in any morning show..because it's fun to laugh at her. 😆

Yeah as a vj she was just *pulls hair* I think if Sanam continues like this, she will be great though. Ahsan is extremely likeable. He always seems to enjoy what he is doing and it shows which makes those who are watching him happy.

He was chuckling the whole time, I was afraid he wouldn't be able to hold his laughter in, it was funny. Mathira always makes head smacking comments, you don't laugh with her, you laugh at her. Omg she was hitting on Ahsan sooo much and he was actually afraid, geeze Mathira he is happily married put your claws back in!

What's up with Sanam and Urdu? She says she can't read Urdu or something. Where is she from and can she really not read it?

@Umz: Sanam Jung not being able to read Urdu? whaaa? what's with everyone saying that they can't read/speak Urdu these days..😆 Is that the new thing with Pak celebs today? lol

Her Urdu seems fine though..and as far as I know she has been raised in Pakistan and was born in Pakistan. When I used to watch her show, she always used to talk about her childhood and never did she say anything about living abroad etc..so, even after that if she can't read Urdu then that's kind of sad. If you can't read Urdu despite living your entire life in Pakistan then I don't know how else you'd be able to learn the language?

I like Sanam but my thing with some of these VJs including Sanam..is that they seem a bit pretentious. I guess this Urdu thing kind of just adds to it now. 😆...with the exception of maybe Naveen.

Lol yeah apparently she says she can't read it well. I don't get that, yeah, if she was raised in another country it would make sense. When she speaks I have never felt that she is weak. Sometimes she makes mistakes but it's more of a tongue slip (which Ahsan jumps on right away 😆)

I agree, pretentious indeed, and yup they act as if they cannot speak Urdu because it makes them seems uncool or something. Why do they try so hard? Why do not just be themselves? I think if Sanam showcases more of her own personality like she does on UJP she is loveable unlike earlier when she tried so hard to be something she was not.

Right now UJP is like a breath of fresh air or else I dislike morning shows.

i didn't know that they are doing utho jago pakistan. i will definitely watch some episodes of UJP. i love sanam jang. Ahsan khan is good as well. it will definitely a treat to watch them together.
