Karishma-Sanjay was doomed from the beginning. You don't get married on the rebound. ...and Karishma looked like she was getting married at gunpoint at her wedding. I think Babita-Randhir were really offended when the Bachchans broke the rishta and they just wanted to get Karishma married right away to show that she can get any guy. But that's just not how you make life-altering decisions. Hopefully, things work out better for her in the near future.

bachchan's broke the rishta 😲? so was it jaya coz she thought karishma is not homely enough?? there are contradictory stories i hv read abt this...like how babita instigated the whole thing..??😕

No, Karisma was smiling, and trying to be the shy bride. She was not miserable! I think she wanted the marriage very much...

I heard two stories... one-- Babita wanted Big B to divide the property between his children before the marriage. Babita felt that Abishek would never be successful and wanted Karisma to lead a comfortable life. The Bachchans got pissed about this.

The other story is that Babita didn't want Randhir at the wedding ceremonies and Big B didn't accept that.

But all the stories lead back to Babita... there doesn't appear to have been any problem between Karisma and Abhishek itself. The parents are responsible for their breakup and mostly Babita...
