It is the age of aggressive promotions and Sonam Kapoor understands that. The actress has decided to promote her upcoming films 'Ranjhanaa' and 'Bhag Milkha Bhaag' even before the producers of the film get to it. Right from social media platforms to promotional events, Sonam's been doing her bit at every possible opportunity.

But the plan here is bigger than just gaining visibility for her projects. The actress wants to make a strong image for herself much like her contemporaries. And she's not in it alone.

Buzz is that it was her little sister Rhea Kapoor's idea to push her Kapoor Sr. as a brand - just like Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone.

"Priyanka Chopra has mastered the art of being seen at the right place at the right time. And Deepika too has managed to keep herself in the news.

Sonam wasn't the type but is slowly learning the art of self-promotion.

And with her films releasing, there couldn't have been a better time for the actress to start. But it was Rhea's idea to take this Rhea's idea to take the route," says her close associate.
