Throughout the last two episodes I have been watching Sumitra.She is reacting just like the others as far as AnSh relationship is concerned despite knowing much more about them.Agreed Shiv has told them not to broach the subject but I thought her reactions would be a little different from the others...Pl correct me if I am wrong

today the way Sumitra teased Anandi did look odd to me but then i realized that she must be making Anandi realize that Shiv has dreams for this amrriage like others and they both have a future for which she has to move and leave past

I have liked Sumitra's character in the past, particularly when Jagya hitched up with Gauri - those days she brought out her anguish superbly.

But of late starting from the 'daal mei masal jyada hai' episode, she is behaving strangely, at times she is looking dumb founded almost waiting for DS to tell her how to behave at other times she is being totally out of her character.

Sumitra always loved anandi more than her daughter sugna and even her son jagya...she is the most affected person loosing anandi. But her expressions are really weird and bad nowadays. More so bad acting.

I think she is confused. And her whole emotions are really going haywire.

first to let A go is a BIG deal for her. SHe really invested al of her emotions in her.

She cannot get over the fact that A was her bahu. Its not an easy thing to let go off. THough she did... it does come back to haunt her. Now that J is nice, she def. wishes that she should have not wanted A to get married away. I can totally imagine..

And she feels guilty of feeling that way.

Sopoor thing she is going through a LOT.

I feel bad for her and the entire singh family.

But right now the best thing is Anandi getting away from them so they can get a clearer picture of where she stands in their life and finally... move on : (

poor singhs :( though I get irritated by them, I also feel bad for them ..

its true that sometimes Sumitra does think that only if Jagya would have returned early or they would have waited for a while maybe Anandi-Jagya would have been together but that was because she loved Anandi like her daughter and always thought that at least one of her daughter would be with her forever...she always loved Anandi like a daughter and i doubt that she looks at her as her DIL

Sumitra's reactions seem natural.

She is struggling between doing what is her duty which is doing the right thing by Anandi by helping her to embrace her future and her desire to see Anandi as her son's wife.Which are two contradictory things.

She seems to succeed in fulfilling her duty despite the fact that her desire pulls her in the opposite direction.

She is a strong woman in her own way because not many people can fulfil their duty when their desire is something totally opposite of their duty.
