Mehendi the word itself brings back all those beautiful nostalgic childhood memories! It has a great significance in our culture. It is considered as a true ornament for any bride 😊. Ancestors say that the darker the stain, the greater the love of the husband😉, and in some cases, the more the bride's mother in law will like her.😉
Our bride Amita was not ready to apply it on her hand as she was anxious that she might miss Amit's call 😔. Finally he did call but maybe she could sense the tension and the inner turmoil in his voice which made her jerk and her mehendi design got spoiled ðŸ˜. Is this a sign that there is some hidden thunderstorm waiting to blow and play havoc in her life?😲 Later she did apply mehendi but the color was not very dark. She got ridiculed for it too!!😔 While in our bridegroom's house everyone forcefully applied mehendi 'A' on Amit's hand and he heartlessly wiped it out. Is he hinting that 'Amita, you are no more in my heart!!'ðŸ˜
Back to our mehendi ' Is it truly an instrument to measure the depth of love😉 After all what is it a mixture of some lifeless ingredients like henna leaf etc. Is this lifeless heena leaf worthy enough measure the depth of the couple's love? Does it appreciate the beautiful and romantic moments that the couple spent? Does it understand the sweet and cute fights that the couple had? Does it even fathom the bond that these couple have? If the answer is no then people who try to measure love are the culprits of these couples, since true love is boundless and limitless. If it can be measured then it was never love but just a lust / infatuation/crush.
On a lighter note: Scientifically it is proven that people who have dry skin or more body heat get darker mehendi color. i.e. the more you expose the mehendi to heat the more darker stain you get. Do pour in your thoughts too.
