The episode starts with Radha trying to take the easy way out of her problems by attempting to commit suicide. She is hanging from the fan when the kids see her and alert their parents who come rushing into the room. Yash grabs her legs to steady her while Pankaj unties the noose bringing her down carefully while she pushes them away asking why they saved her. SP takes in the scene from outside the room while everyone else is trying to calm her. Aarti reassures her saying that they know she is innocent so they were coming to apologise to her rather than berate her. Ishita and Vidhi too support her by emphasising that she is innocent and they were really coming to apologise. Yash then asks his father to believe that she is innocent now as if she had the wrong intentions; she would not have attempted to commit suicide. He then requests SP to forgive her while the women lead her to the bed.
In their room, Yash is rubbing Aarti's back and asking her not to take any tension. She tells him that she is only thinking of SP and how worried he is as he looks like he is hiding a big storm in his heart. Yash agrees with her saying that his father is broken after his mother's death and then all this is happening so how can they be happy seeing him in such a condition. He then tells her that they have to be the ones to bring happiness back to the family. Radha comes to their room to remind them to give SP his medicine as nobody has done so as yet. She leaves and Aarti remarks that she has so much care for him like a wife does. Yash then tells her that they need to talk to SP about it while she asks him how they can broach the topic. He then lightens the moment by asking her if she of all people are asking that question as she is the expert at handling such situations. She then tells him that there is a way that SP cannot refuse and proceeds to tell him the plan which is muted.
The next morning Aarti wakes up but realises that Yash has gotten up before her. She thinks that he is in the washroom so she takes some colour in both her hands and stands outside the door waiting for him. The door opens and she puts colour on the person coming out only to realise it is one of the maids. She apologises while the maid tells her it is ok as it happens in this condition. She leaves the room and Yash enters the room laughing and teasing her for being childish. She gets angry as her plan has failed while he is only laughing. He then tricks her into looking away so that he can apply colour to her cheeks but instead of being happy she gets angry and starts fuming while he is confused but tries his best to pacify her. In all her fuming she tells him that she wanted to be the first one to apply colour on him and wish him happy holi but he ended up doing it so her whole plan failed. Seeing her so upset, he comes closer takes her hand and places it on her cheek and using the same hand he applies colour to his own cheek telling her that it doesn't matter who applies it first as they are one. He then makes her smile by telling her that her anger is giving the colour on her cheeks competition. Seeing her laugh, he hugs her carefully enjoying the moment which is broken when the kids enter. They apply colour to the kids and hug each other before the kids ask Yash to come play holi with them outside.
SP is then shown in his room standing in front of Gayatri's picture remembering how they would spend their holi but now things are so colourless for him as he does not know how to deal with her not being around him. Prateek and Pankaj who are also in the room think of their mom and how colourless their lives have become without her. Ishita comes and stands by the door, notices Gayatri's mangalsutra and decides to fake some tears alerting them on her presence. SP asks her what she is doing there while she apologises for coming in front of him but she couldn't stop herself as she had a dream of Gayatri who was missing him and the family a lot. She tells him that she still feels that Gayatri is with them. She says that Gayatri wanted to say alot but she cannot remember properly what was said. Pankaj asks her to try and remember what Gayatri said so she says that she only remembers Gayatri telling her to take care of her mangalsutra but she doesn't know why she said it. The kids come running in the room, spraying Ishita in the process. They go up to their grandfather asking him to come play holi with them. He agrees and they all leave the room except Ishita who remains to wipe her fake tears.
SP is playing holi with his grandkids when Yash and Aarti come and see him as Pankaj, Prateek look on. Radha comes out the kitchen and the kids drag her closer to play holi but she tells them that she doesn't partake in it but she will get sweets for them. SP and Radha look at each other and as she is turning to leave, Yash and Aarti move forward to wish her happy holi. They then go to SP where Yash tells him he wants to speak to him so his father tells him to go ahead but he doesn't get a chance to continue. I think this was a deliberate move by the CVs to make us think that Yash and Aarti will broach the topic when in fact Yash might ask something else. From the way Aarti narrated the plan, it seems to be of a sensitive nature and so I don't think they would bring up the topic either in public like that or maybe without consulting the rest of the family.
