Ok, CVs, please can you do a little Googling before throwing in Harvard in the lines just because it sounds impressive? Guman and Laxmi talk about her son being at Harvard and "COLLEGE" fees. Harvard College is liberal arts, no business management to be done there. Economic major yes, but no business management as a focus. The only management course is the feel-good short course non-Harvard students usually take at Harvard EXTENSION School. It's the one that Tyra Banks and silly Zinta did. I know I am getting very particular and there are cultural differences that makes it hard to know these things but really, I am also tired of Harvard being thrown around as the easy way to show smarts.
Speaking of smarts, how did stupid Guman's son get into Harvard? 😆 If Daddy's money and brother's legacy got him in, that's something else. I like that Saras at least kept it vague. So at least it is more believable that he actually went there. And his character also seems smart enough.
The Ivy Leaugues do not have vocational training like business management in their college levels. Maybe a little snobbishly, they put more emphasis on non-vocational courses. They are pure theory, liberal arts, political science, economics, mathematics, etc. At best you can do engineering in college age, but nothing else is directly a profession. We go to professional school after, for graduate school. For example, the Harvard MBA at Harvard Business School.
That's enough pontificating. I am know I went off, but it took a lot of work in my life to get into a selective school and I get really territorial when their names are thrown around like they are easy-peasy. I know, I know, it is just a soap. All I ask is that if you do it, you do it right.
