Why are they dirty?

Now let me just clarify that I have a very pure mind and heart and all I mean to ask is why do Saras and Kumud like dirt so much? First the scene in the farm where Saras is all mudded up and slings it on Kumud too and then in the past couple of the episodes, including the precap for tomorrow they've been playing hand games with the clay. Any reason why? <<

Most of their romance in last few days has been into mud or clay, with all the mess around.

Maybe it's a symbolism how Saras and Kumud's relation is like wet mud/clay which is delicate and can be moulded in any way (or needs proper work "tilling" to make it fertile or else it will remain barren/lifeless)...and if not moulded (or tilled or worked upon) properly or messed with, it won't shape up well or even give away?

That is the only meaning I am able to draw from it as of now. It perhaps shows how there's a possibility of a relationship between them but if not handled well or messed up with, it'd be defaced/ruined and there'll be nothing of use.

lol 😆 i think saras and kumud are like children at heart playing on the mud with innocent faces. i wish they play holi together too because i was looking forward to the holi epi.

Mud...mitti is always used to denote both possibility of birth/growth and fragility, impending sense of destruction also. Human (or any organism) is said to be born and made of mitti and as we die/wilt away, we also become mitti.

So IMHO, SLB wanted to convey the critical stage in SaMud relationship...which has both abundant possiblity yet several threats (even from their own selves...if they turn angry or egotist and start to hate each other or ignore each other. Other vamps and villains are already there!).

I sort of love such discussions and enjoy the fact how such shows inspire such topics!
