And the line she spoke to Dadi Bua earlier. About the timing of the blessing not being in the hands of mere mortals. This served to underline yet again the point of the BP track. I don't wish to go into the lack of logic. Instead, I just want to say that the thought behind the track was amply clarified. I don't want to get into the right or wrong, the fairness or otherwise of what happened. Just want to say that clearly some thought had actually gone into the twist, no matter that the timing sucked and horribly at that!
Anyway, Nidhi tugged at my heart strings yet again with her simple faith that all would be right with her world because she had now given it her best and wholeheartedly at that. No longer was this baby for Ashutosh nor DB nor anyone else for that matter. It was a blessing that she craved for herself and herself alone. Her womb craved to be blessed.. Clearly God heard the call of this mother's womb and filled it with life.
The expression of delight on Nidhi's face when she received the confirmation was just as touching. Having been there, I know the feeling. So, could appreciate the sheer joy that envelops a woman when she knows that she is to be a mother.
Finally, the epression on Ashutosh's face as he heard Nidhi speak of her confidence over passing the test. The depth of emotion he felt at that moment was conveyed in that half choked 'Tere Muh mei Ghee shakkar'! I had been complaining that Ashutosh's craving was not being focused on at all. Today, just for that one moment, he revealed the depth of his own emotion in those simple words. The blessing and the joy are doubly special when they are mutual. Glad that this time they are! Ashutosh wants a baby not just for himself but he longs for it as it his wife's heartfelt desire too. Similarly, Nidhi no longer wants a baby just because it is what her husband wants. But rather, it is something that she needs to fill that vacuum that she senses within herself!
For today, I just want to talk of the three moments that I relished in the episode! There is always tomorrow for all others!
