Aha Jyo I just read your post in DC. There's hardly been a time when we have disagreed on Yash/Aarti's stance. I wrote a few days back that Yash changed his proactive stance toward Aakash after he saw Aakash's behavior just before and after Gayatri's death. That's when we saw Yash and Aarti step back...Now they only speak when they are reacting to Aakash's extremities. They are doing the right thing now by not fueling his tantrums. Today when the family didn't support Aakash , we saw the first positive sign when Aakash himself crossed over and came to them. He has to understand that he has to give also if he expects his family to be there for him. You cannot always take. If he has to learn this lesson the hard way , then so be it...because obviously he didn't try to understand the same thing when told to him in a nicer way.
@Bold ; Yess thats what I exactly observed in the episode and so I was a bit taken aback with all the accusation going on AarYa yesterday since I feel this time AarYa hv indeed done the right thing by not giving in to his tantrums and thats what resulted in Akash crossing that laxman rekha on his own the moment he felt all alone and felt the need of his family in times of crisis ... so like u said its a two way street which Akash needs to realise and this is only possible if AarYa no more defends or supports his tantrums but actually alienate him from his family so that he understands the value of a family ...
Yash and Aarti tried the positive way of bringing him in .. did it work .. nope .. it actually resulted in Gayatri's death ... only then both went on to change their stance and started acting tough even if it means safeguaring their family from Akash and this is certainly working or else AKash would hv never crossed that laxman rekha yesterday if he was given everything again on a platter .. he felt the need to cross that line because he found himself all alone and realised that he cannot always dictate his terms ...
