Durga begs SL to agree for the wedding otherwise they might loose their son. SL goes in front of the brother's photo (Power Pandian in his mind says ahh oo naa photo munale neekarai)

Finally, SL agrees for the wedding but with condition. That the marriage happens under the patronage of Lakshmi & the daughters. Durga, Ramesh and PP protest. SL says either this happens or wedding doesn't happen and he walks out.

Ramesh all feelings. PP says all the dialogues etc and asks Ramesh to call Preethi and talk to her. Ramesh calls and Preethi gets agitated. Nalini answers the phone. Ramesh tells Nalini, appa agrees for the wedding with condition and before he could finish, she thaya taks. PP takes over the phone and tells the condition with a little lie that Lakshmi will be there only when Ramesh ties the thaali. Nalini agrees reluctantly.

Lakshmi's home. Nandhini is not back yet from college and Lakshmi is worried. Sujata says the sister's character has changed and were discussing when Selvi comes in bringing some sweets she tried to make and she complains from trying to make one thing, it lead to another.

Selvi goes home, only to find out her brother is back. As she enters the house she looks scared of seeing her Thamby. ( Thamby turns out to be the guy from TMS who was supposed to marry Revathy and then married his ex-wife). Brother looking mighty angry'.. do you think this is Neelambri's future husband? He is too young for her.
