I seriously beg to differ from you, Chitra!!

We have read numerous threads/posts on this forum related to birthday wishes, appreciations for particular actor(s), etc etc..

I know that this forum is dedicated to Parichay, but a small thread in remembrance of one the greatest freedom fighter won't make much of a difference..

This forum is definitely not for discussing any sort of political ideology or for loathing against current lot of politicians, but again, I couldn't find any flaw in akrk's action of posting this thread..😕

Would like to apologize if I may sound a bit rude to you, but just couldn't refrain from posting my POV on reading your comment!!😛

thank u so much Shobhit...
I was feeling bad that why did I open this thread here...
But u cleared that its fine that if i opened this thread... 😊

@AKRK: Neither I'm here to justify what is right or wrong nor I'm this forum's moderator..
So, you shouldn't actually thank me... 😆

@bold: You shouldn't feel bad about your thread as it wasn't created for any sort of bashing or for hurting someone's sentiments.

Remembering one of the greatest freedom fighter is no sin... though, your thread might appear to be a "right thread at wrong place"...😛

It should not be just a specific day to salute the VEER😛 People should be remembering their sacrifices every day and have gratitude towards them for having a freedom of everykind that they are living in this modern India.

I salute all the brave souls that fought for our nation and for world peace

Bravo Shobz 👏 👏 👏 👏
You nailed it right 👍🏼. We have celebrated birthdays of the people, also prayed for the sick ones and paid our homage to the family members of some of the forum members so why not this? 😕
We even celebrated some special days like Valentines day, Mothers day, Fathers day and not to mention Friendship day on this forum.
Seems like Veer day or Shahid day is not something to be celebrated in modern India and yet we complaint about everything that goes wrong in the country😕

Nidhi famous dialogue from the movie - Rang De Basanti -
"Koi desh perfect nahi hota hain use perfect banana padta hain." 😳

And from where i see when the educated people don't vote they can not complaint about the political issues happening in the country.
