B-Town has another copycat on the prowl! After co-stars Koena Mitra and Celina Jaitly sizzled in sarees at a sit-down-dinner for the South African premier recently, the yet-to-make-her-presence-felt Riya Sen came clad in a saree at a private party hosted by Subhash Ghai post the release of Apna Sapna Money Money. Getting down to the nitty-gritty at the do, Riteish Dehsmukh sported his fav comic figure Tom (of Tom and Jerry), while Koena strutted around in a flowy white skirt. Shreyas Talpade was at his jovial best, while Celina decided to give the do a miss, taking an evening flight to Srinagar instead.

KJo's Wharton trip Did he stumble, mumble or fumble at any point? "No. I gave an impromptu speech and I've done this before. I like meeting people from all over the world and learning about their perception of the Indian film industry. Their thoughts give us fresh insight into the way people think all over the world. Finally, there's potential for MBAs to look at the entertainment industry for work. It's become so lucrative."
Celina Jaitly has a secret passion, but it's not a secret anymore. Jaitly was snapped by OK! India walking into a ballet class at Terrence Lewis' Bandra studio, where she's been training for the last few months. "The little she lacks in skill, Celina makes up for in enthusiasm," says Lewis, adding, "She has a single-minded purpose. She wants to learn whatever crafts are required to enhance her package as an actress, that's why the jazz ballet lessons."
We caught sight of Jimmy Sheirgill at a press conference for his film Rehguzar recently and were left wondering what he's done to himself. The usually good-looking actor was sporting ghastly blond streaks in a very feminine bob sort of hairstyle. Needless to say, his hair stylist Aalim needs to go on a long break. That's not all. Jimmy has turned into Goldilocks by going completely blond in Anand Rai's film! Duck everyone, yellow fever is on the prowl!
Guess who Amitabh Bachchan calls when he needs some help with his wardrobe? Everybody's favourite style guru, Karan Johar. Whenever the Big B is in London, he keeps KJo on speed dial so that he can call the young director about the best stores to visit to buy clothes, gadgets, etc. But Karan says that the Big B doesn't need to call him. "He has an amazing sense of style and can carry off anything. You know, he often uses his personal clothes for his films. All those amazing jackets he wore in Silsila and Kabhie Kabhi were part of his private collection!"
A few days after our story that Karan Johar's protg Soham had defected to Ajay Devgan's camp, Devgan called us from Pune to mumble, "I don't know what's happening. Soham messaged a month ago wanting to meet me, but I was in South Africa, so I couldn't meet him. I haven't met him since and can only take a call about doing his film after that. Till then, I can't comment." The actor sounds confused, but we know better. Now, the buzz is that Soham has also approached UTV to produce his film. So Kumar Mangat might produce a different film from the one that Karan was producing for Soham. And some new denials will hit the stand. Of course, we'll keep you posted on all these 'exciting' goings-on.
