PART 1:

Zoya is crying seeing the music doll. Asad looking at her from far yearning to console her but unable to due to his ego. Tanveer sees him lost in thoughts and looks at his object of desire and sees Asad looking at Zoya's direction. So she decides to interrupt him.

Tanveer: Jammy??

Asad comes out of his trance and sees Tanveer

Asad: yes Tannu

Tanveer: I just came to wish you goodnight

Asad: good night Tannu giving her a small smile.

Asad then goes to his room as he knows that he can't control himself if he stands there watching her even a second more.

Meanwhile Zoya noticed Asad and Tanveer talking even though she is unable to hear the conversation she sees him smiling and talking to her.

Zoya (ST): Mr.Khan never smiles at me while talking. Always getting angry and shouting at me. But look how he is talking to her. Tannu Jammy she mimics them. He calls me alone Ms.Farooqui with so much formality. More tears makes way from her eyes seeing the partial behavior of Asad.

Meanwhile in Asad's room he is tossing and turning in his bed unable to sleep.

Whenever he tries to sleep Zoya's tear stricken face comes into his mind making it impossible for him to sleep.

Asad (ST): what is happening to me? Why does her every tear and her every smile affect me so much. Why is it that I wanted to go and take her into my arms and stop her from crying? No this is not me. I can't be weak. From tomorrow I will try and avoid her as much as possible.

With this resolution he goes to sleep.

In the garden Zoya also decides something.

Zoya (ST): the only time I have seen Mr. Khan be free and laugh and smile with me is when we were induced with that bhang. Yes. All that can't be wrong. I will make Mr. Khan remember that incident. I don't know myself why I want him to remember that but all I know is that I cannot take this indifference and I will confront Mr.Khan about this.

With this resolution Zoya goes to sleep with a smile on her face
