PART 5:

One month passed this way. Zoya stopped coming out much. She goes out every morning before Asad comes down and comes before he reaches home from office and goes inside her room. Has her dinner also inside her room saying she has work to do. She told Najma and Dilshad that she was busy with her work as she had to finish it soon and get back to New York as her visa was expiring. Dilshad was feeling weird but dint say anything as she thought Zoya was really busy

Asad missed her. Even though he spoke to her badly he still loved her deep inside and felt guilty for shouting at her. He dint know what was right and wrong any more. He decided not to think about it as his heart was telling him that she was not capable of doing this while his mind was asking him to think about the pregnancy kit. He waited everyday to catch a glimpse of her but it was as if she never existed in the house.

On one such day they heard a thud and came to the living room and saw Tanveer laying there unconscious. Zoya was out early as usual so she wasn't present there.

Asad called the doctor and everyone came to know that she was pregnant. Tanveer opened her eyes in a while and came to know that they all knew about her pregnancy seeing their faces.

Zoya: Khala I never wanted to tell you about this but one night when Asad and I met for some work we got caught up in the rain and had to stay in a secluded place. We were fully wet and lost our control. That's the reason he asked me to come here on pretext of work and he said he will inform you and marry me when the right time comes as anyways you won't have any problem with me. She started crying after finishing her story.

Asad was stunned. When she called him from the accident it was the first time he saw her in 15 yrs and here she was spinning some cock and bull story

Dilshad and Najma were also stunned. Dilshad couldn't believe that her son could do this but why would Tanveer lie? Najma also was shocked she never thought her bhaijaan would do something like that.

Asad: stop this Tanveer. What the hell are you blabbering. Do you even have sense of what you are saying?

Tanveer: I am sorry Asad I had to tell them the truth.

Asad: what truth? Don't lie we never had any such relationship why the hell are you lying? Ammi, tamatar please believe me she is lying

Dilshad: don't run away from your responsibilities Asad. I have taught you better than that

Asad: Ammi please I met Tanveer after 15 yrs only when she called me saying she was in an accident. Zoya was also there with me. I dint meet her before that.

Dilshad: I don't know what to believe Asad. Why would she lie in a matter like this? You proved you are to be like your father. You are running away from responsibilities. I am ashamed of you.

Asad was feeling helpless. His own family did not believe him. He wanted to strangle Tanveer for lying through her teeth.

Asad: Ammi please believe me. I am not lying. Tamatar at least you believe me.

Najma just lowered her head. He understood that she dint believe him too.

Zoya entered the house at the moment and looked at the commotion.

She dint understand what was happening.

Then Najma explained what happened.

Zoya looked at Asad. His eyes were begging her to believe.

Zoya decided that how much ever he might hate her or she might hate him for talking with her so badly he is not capable of doing this. As even when he was not in senses he dint cross his line with her even though he accepted to be attracted to her. Moreover she felt that Tanveer had more to her than what she portrays as that day she told a different story to her and also she was there with Asad that day when he accused her of being pregnant and it looked like Tanveer's pregnancy kit.

Asad: Zoya please you at least believe me. I would never do such a thing

Zoya: I believe you Mr. Khan

The finality and confidence with which she told surprised everyone is the room especially Asad.

She believed him without any proof whereas he doubted and accused her every time. He remembered how he recently accused her of being pregnant believing Tanveer without even giving her a chance to explain. He felt like a fool.

Zoya: Tanveer you said the one you loved ran away so you have come in search of him and he is the reason for your pregnancy?

Tanveer was struck now. She dint expect Zoya to trust Asad after all his accusations on her.

Tanveer: I told that to save Asad. I dint want anyone to think bad of him

Zoya: then why did you tell it's him now?

Tanveer: because at some point they have to know about this. I dint want anyone to know about this but there is no other way now as the family already knows about my pregnancy.

Zoya: ok can you tell me on which date Asad and you met and all these things happened??

Tanveer: I don't remember the date

Zoya: how can you not remember the date of such an important thing in your life?

Tanveer was seriously sweating now.

Tanveer: I don't know too much tension I forgot. How do you expect me to remember the date and all??

Asad was enjoying Tanveer's helplessness and was looking at Zoya with pride for the way in which she was interrogating a helpless Tanveer.

Dilshad and Najma were standing unable to understand anything clearly.

Zoya: ok. Then only solution for this is DNA test.

Tanveer paled hearing this

Tanveer: what? DNA??????? But you can do that only after the child is born right? But I can't wait for marriage till the baby is born. What will the society think of me?

Zoya: you should have been in control if you care so much about the society. Anyways it's not my problem. It's your personal choice I am no one to intrude. But let me tell you technology has improved a lot. We can now do DNA paternity test even when the child is in the womb.

Tanveer dint know what to do. She was caught in her own web of lies. There is no way she could escape this.

Zoya continued talking.

Zoya: we can call 3 doctors to do the test. If you think we would cheat you can call your doctor but you should talk now in front of us and ask the doctor to come immediately. Phuphi and Mr. Khan might call the other 2 doctors in that way no one can say that the result is fake.

The 3 doctors were called and all the three were proved negative.

Tanveer: please sorry. I did it for money and fame please leave me. I promise I will be out of your sight.

Asad was about to shout at her when Zoya intervened

Zoya: we leave you only because you are pregnant and we don't want to harm that innocent soul for your mistakes. But if you try to come anywhere near this family or do any harm to someone else believe me you would wish you were never born.

Everyone was gaping at the way Zoya was talking. It held so much power that the other person would be afraid to even stand in front of her.

Zoya: I would like to tell one more thing to you people. I searched Tanveer's things when the DNA was being done to get to know about her intentions and got to know that she was working for Razia and this is the original chip in the doll. It seems she had kept an extra copy to blackmail Razia. Here check it Mr. Khan. Your father was innocent. I also came to know that I am the illegitimate daughter of Razia's husband and my mother was killed by both of them when I went through Tanveer recent phone calls. Anyways I hope you will get Mrs. & Mr. Siddiqui to jail and also clear all the charges against dosth I mean Mr. Rashid Ahmed Khan, saying so she left for her room without turning back while the whole family was looking at her retreating back in awe unable to react with so many revelations at a time.
