Anandi as a character has many shades. She is a very strong person at heart. She always had the strength to face 100's of hurdles and still manage to keep a smile.

When Anandi was married to Jagya she was extremely shy with him but she never backed down to show her love. Of course as many mentioned the tubewell scene, the terrace scene etc. She always thought of how to please jagya.

Is this not the same Anandi who started studying not because studying is important but because Jagya was ashamed of his uneducated beendani?

Her wanting gain more education was not because of the love towards education but because she wanted to please jagya.

Yes this is another story that once she figured out that Jagya just wants to wash his hands off her and no matter what she does its not going to impress him, did she decide that she will continue studying.

but the main point is that she would always try to please Jagya. Her husband

Its the same Anandi and the Creatives of Balika Vadhu are not people with Amnesia. Rarely do I find such beautiful creativity in story telling where people connect the dots. Balika Vadhu's creatives have always managed to do that.

In Yesterday's scene too.. Anandi did not say I love you right away.. she said aapko tho surprise acha lagtha hai na...

So her original nature of pleasing her husband has come back. Shiv wants a bold Anandi who is able to express her love without shyness. He wants her to hug him, kiss him without any jijhak. And that is precisely why he gave her the much needed time.

Jagya on the other hand was never someone who wanted to wait. If you remember the initial episodes he was ever so ready to pounce on her. And it was always about him , never about her. But she was always ok with it cause her main brainwashing was, always please your husband.

So no I do not find Abrupt change in Anandi's character. Rather its very much in sync.

If shiv would have forced himself on Anandi, she would have never minded that. She would have just given in knowing that this is what her husband wants ... and she would have been fine with it. But Shiv does not want that. He wants Anandi to approach him and that is what she did.
