A, B, C, D, E...Z Grade Actors????

What is mean by A grade,B grade, C grade Actors and Actresses?😕

How can we categorize actors?😕

if actors who does Item songs, soft po*n movies called as B, C, D grade actors, then what about these so called A listers who does Item songs, love making scenes( of course script demands😆), dancing around trees in skimpy clothes😆

I think the grade of actors depends on who wants to work with them rather than the kind of work they do or acting skils. Emraan Hashmi is known as a kissing king doing movies where sex was used as a selling point. Hence a few years back he was considered B grade. Today he has proved his BO credentials in movies like TDP, OUATIM and hence he has biggies like KJo, YRF, UTV chasing him. That automatically makes him an A lister.

Neil Nitin Mukesh on the other hand...started out with a promising project and bagged films under the YRF banner too. But he didnt meet with success and has been dumped by the A list producers. Hence he is reduced to doing movies like 3G, Shortcut Romeo etc this becoming a B lister.

There are some though with the right connections like Abhishek who arent relegated to B-list because of their family's influence despite lack of success.

I think If a certain actor's movie works well then they automatically start off from the higher end of the ladder - Grade A, but if the movie flops, then the actor usually starts off from the bottom - Grade C [Z]. Position thickens or changes with time - skin show/ songs / acting / etc , usually makes no difference as long as their movie receives a good outcome.

Star kids = A Grade

Others have to either work with Yash Raj, Dharma, UTV productions or just climb the ladder
