Okay so I thought this would be my last chapter, but I think I will have a chapter three. Hope you guys like this update... It might feel a little filmi 😆
chapter 2
virat - "Chachu, what happened? Did you find out anything?"
inder - "Virat, Jaiswal?"
virat - "Jaiswal? What did he do chachu? Is bhai okay?"
inder - "Tomorrow is the hearing of his case which Viren was on. He had all the proofs and files with him. That means"
virat - "That he kidnapped bhai and tried getting rid of him and all the evidence"
Virat and Inder didn't notice, but Jeevika was standing just a few feet away from them and heard everything. She was going to fall again but luckily Virat and Manvi quickly got a hold of her taming her down.
j - "Virat please we have to go find him. God knows how he is. Please Virat lets leave now" she cried and cried
virat - "Bhabhi don't worry. Nothing can happen to bhai. I will go you please stay here at home. Don't worry I will bring him back" he said trying to reassure her
j - "No Virat. Please you can't say no to me today. You have to take me with you"
Virat just looked at Manvi hoping she could help him make Jeevika understand.
m - "Virat, it's okay. We will come with you. No one will be able to sit here peacefully"
virat - "Okay let's go. Manvi you take bhabhi and sit in my car"
They all started leaving. Virat, Manvi, and Jeevika were in one car while Inder went in the other car. They both had no idea where they were going, just hoping they were lucky to find some cue indicating Viren's presence. Jeevika was sitting in the front unable to stop crying. She kept calling and messaging Viren hoping he would pick up for even one minute and tell her where he was so she could come and help her love. She asked God what she had done to deserve this? It had been barely a week since their wedding, and already this mess. Virat was panicking himself as Manvi could see through the mirror but he tried staying as calm as possible. It had been an hour and still no news no nothing. Somewhere in the middle of a market Virat and Inder both came. They both got out of the car and Manvi also.
inder - "Virat I have no idea where to look. His car is not being found by anyone, not even the police. They are already out and searching"
virat - "Dammit" he said hitting the car
m - "Virat please calm down. Everything will be fine"
virat - "Manvi you go and sit with bhabhi inside the car"
m - "Okay"
Manvi went back to the car and Jeevika wasn't there.
m - "VIRAT DI IS GONE"
Virat and Inder panicked coming towards Manvi.
virat - "I knew we shouldn't have brought her. Gosh now where do we find her?"

Jeevika couldn't just wait sitting around to find her husband. She had to do it fast and now. He had been with her every time she needed him, and now when he needed her the most she couldn't sit down. She had no idea what she was doing or where she was going, she just went on praying there would be a sign. A sign from God on where her husband was. She kept walking and didn't even realize she was all alone on this road. It was pitch dark and no one there. She knew it wasn't safe, but could care less at the moment. She was weeping hoping to find him soon but was giving up. She finally stumbled upon this small hut. This was the same place she and Viren were at last night. Last night when they became Virika. She wanted him back and just kept staring there. She walked by it, and just wanted to go inside. How things had changed in 24 hours itself. She went towards the hut looking through the window where she thought she saw someone. She rushed inside to see Viren. It took her some time to get out of her senses and go help her husband who seemed passed out. She ran to his side once fully aware and tried finding some water to wake him up. How was she going to take him from here? They were both in a deserted place with no one near by. Viren's forehead was bleeding and she kept applying pressure. He woke up after some time but with throbbing pain in his head. He was trying to say his wife's name but she softly placed her hand on his mouth telling him to quiet down and relax. She stood up and then helped him get up. She slowly helped him get out of the hut with him leaning on her petite self. She realized then that she forgot her phone in Virat's car. She was panicking now as to how they would get back to their family. Jeevika helped Viren sit down near a tree where he could rest his back for support while she figured out something. Jeevika rushed back inside the hut hoping she could maybe find Viren's phone if it had fallen out. She searched and searched trying to do it as quickly as she wanted to go outside and tend to her husband. Then she finally found a phone. It was ringing and she quickly followed the ringtone. The caller id was popping up and it was none other than Jaiswal. For the first time in her life Jeevika wished bad for someone and hoped this person would go to hell for doing this to her husband. She quickly cut the phone and dialed Virat's number. His phone was coming busy so she tried Inders and then Manvi's who finally picked up.
j - "Mannu tell Virat to quickly come where he picked me and Virenji up yesterday near that hut. Tell him fast Manvi" she said crying
m - "Okay okay di, we're coming"
Manvi informed Virat and Inder and the three of them head out towards the hut. Jeevika just kept trying to keep Viren awake and she hugged him sitting down next to him. He hugged her back giving her some sort of relief.
j - "Virenji I love you so much" she said with a painful heart.
v - "I .. love you..too" he said slowly
j - "Don't worry Virat is almost here, we will take you straight to the hospital"
v - "How.. can I wo..rry when you'.are with me?" he said trying to get Jeevika to calm down. Even though he was in this much pain, it was the most painful seeing Jeevika in that state.
Jeevika hugged Viren tighter and tighter but he yelled a little as she pressed on his right arm. She quickly backed away, not wanting to move his arm. She knew his arm must have been swollen or fractured. Both of them just lay their heads on top of each others, not uttering a word waiting for Virat to come. He finally did and ran outside the car. He went to Viren's left side and helped him up while Jeevika held onto his right side. He could walk but was in a lot of pain. Manvi sat in the front as Virat drove and Jeevika in the back. Viren had his head on his wife's shoulder. Virat drove to the hospital as quickly as possible where everyone else was already waiting for them as Inder had informed them. Virat stopped the car near the entrance and helped his brother get out with Jeevika. They took him inside and the doctor immediately took Viren inside to clean up all his wounds. The police had come as well as they needed to enquire from Viren everything that happened today. Jeevika now had a little piece of mind as she knew her husband was being taken care of. She was starting to feel real sick herself though from stress and exhaustion. This was not at all how she imagined her first birthday with Viren to be like. It was her fault that Viren was like this. Had she listened to Viren in the morning, he wouldn't have gone to office in the first place. Manvi made her di sit down on the bench as they all waited for some information from the doctor and police. The police and doctor came out together after half an hour which felt more like eternity.
dr - "Viren is fine now. He's just a little weak. His right arm is quite badly bruised but we have bandaged it and also his head as well. You guys can take him home in sometime"
police - "We will also be filling a report against Jaiswal for kidnapping. Based on Mr. Vadhera's testimony we know that he did that all to get private information regarding his ongoing trial. The trial will be pushed with the new charges pressed against Jaiswal. We will also get a restraining order for him so he is safe. But it is recommended that Mr. Viren Vadhera not leave the house for a few days maybe weeks till this mess is cleared"
inder - "Okay, we will look to that. Thank You"
The whole family went to see Viren inside and Viren only wanted to see Jeevika to make sure she was okay. Her eyes were gloomy and swollen as he knew she must have cried all day long. They got to leave the hospital soon. As soon as they got home Jeevika started becoming a maniac taking care of her husband. She turned the AC on making sure he wouldn't feel to hot and kept out a jug of water for him. She went straight into the kitchen to make him dinner. She was exhausted herself, but could care less at this moment. Virat and Manvi were sitting inside with Viren while Jeevika was away.
virat - "Bhai, please eat dinner and rest. Don't worry about anything regarding work. I will handle it with chachu. Just give me orders now"
m - "Yeah jiju make this useless fool of some use" she said lightening up the mood
virat - "Veru funny. Why aren't you helping bhabhi Manvi? You know she fainted twice today"
viren - "What? Jeevika fainted twice? How and when?"
virat - "She hadn't eaten anything since morning because she was waiting for you"
m - "So when we came and surprised her for her birthday she fainted and fell on me"
virat - "And then when chachu told me about Jaiswal being behind this she overheard our conversation and then again"
viren - "This is so not how I wanted to celebrate her first birthday here in Chandigardh" he said looking up in pity. Everything about today was a mess.
m - "Its okay jiju. Things happen"
virat - "And you're still sitting here. You sit only I will go and help my bhabhi"
Virat left the room and saw Jeevika walking towards the room with a tray full of food. Virat took it from her hand and followed her inside placing it on the table.
j - "Virat Manvi you both go outside and eat dinner with everyone. I'll feed Virenji"
m - "Okay di, take care jiju"
Manvi and Virat both left giving the newlyweds some privacy. Jeevika took the plate on got on the bed right next to Viren. She took a spoon putting some food and went in to feed her husband. He took his left hand, unable to move the right, and took the spoon from her hand and holding it himself giving her the first bite.
j - "Virenji I'm not hungry. You eat first. I'll eat later"
v - "You haven't eaten the full day because of me. Don't lie saying you're not hungry. Please take a bite first"
Jeevika took a bite and then made Viren take a bite.
v - "I'm sorry for ruining your birthday. I owe you big time. I promise I will make it up to you"
j - "Please don't say that. I already got something which I will always be thankful for"
v - "And what is that"
j - "You. You are the biggest gift of my life. Today I realized how horrible my life would be without you. I can't imagine myself away from you ever. Everyday and every moment with you is a gift for me"
v - "I'm sorry. I promise I won't ever leave you again" he said kissing her forehead.
Jeevika just cuddled with him slowly moving her arms around his body and her head on his chest.
